A mighty and rushing wind of the Holy Spirit! The 2003 Russia Miracle Healing Festival successfully ended up at the Olympic Stadium of St. Petersburg, from 12 to 14 in November. I am going to spread the gospel and the works of God all over Russia.

Missionary Ji Woong (In the Master's course in Saint Petersburg University, Interpreter in 2003 Russia Miracle Healing Festival) In 1996, I came to Russia to take a language course while I was majoring in Russian Literature in Konkuk University. After the graduation, I took the master's course in Saint Petersburg National University and I got married to my wife who is a Russian. In October 2003, I heard the news that the Russia Miracle Healing Festival by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee would be held in November 2003. After I was asked to help them as an interpreter One day, pastor Michael in Russia asked me to interpret for the mission team from Korea. I was very pleased to meet Koreans and went to the office to meet pastor Igor Nikitin, the chairman of ACCR (Association of Christian Churches in Russia). There, I met Deacon Jeremiah Jung, David Kim, and Ronya Son from the international mission bureau of Manmin Joong-ang Church. Especially, I had already met Deacon Son 5 or 6 years ago when he was studying in Saint Petersburg National University. It was very nice to meet him again. Everyone of the crusade preparation team was very kind. We got to have true friendship with each other as Christians. It was our first meeting, but I came to trust them working together in cooperation day by day. Impressed by their goodness and decent attitudes, I built a friendly relationship with them quickly. I was impressed by the wonderful organization of Manmin Joong-ang Church. I also envied them their enthusiasm to spread the gospel eagerly. I got to trust in Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee by a vision Meanwhile, one Sunday, during silent prayer time in my church, God showed a vision to me. The scene looked as if it were a religious picture exhibited in Hermitage Museum, the biggest museum in Russia that was constructed in more than 40 years. There were much black clouds back afar in the scene. In each corner were two big clouds on which people dressed in white were standing. The people on the right cloud stretched out their hands waiting for someone. I felt people on the left cloud were the members of Manmin Joong-ang Church. In front of the scene, a person with very black hair was standing, and I felt he was Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee. As time passed by, the clouds came nearer and nearer. The vision was a meaningful event to me. I told my vision to Russian members and proposed that they should be reminded of the meaning of Russia Miracle Healing Festival once more. Through the series of the events, I was very convinced of the crusade. I left what I had done behind, and began to work with the mission team and help them. What I could do was to interpret and explain to them the states of the Russian mission field. I worked until late for many days. But I was very happy sharing the pleasures and pains of the works. After I saw the works of God in Russia Miracle Healing Festival On November 12, 2003, Russia Miracle Healing Festival of Rev. Dr. Lee began. The speaker Rev. Dr. Lee delivered a message under the titles "The Creator God" and "Why does God cultivate man on earth?" It was good and simple messages which gave life to unbelievers. 2003 Russia Miracle Healing Festival was live-broadcast through 12 satellites, shown on satellite TV, cable TV, and on the Internet in about 150 countries all over the world. It was deemed to be the best event and made a big sensation in Russian Christian history. The blind came to see, the mute came to speak, the crippled came to stand and walk, and the miraculous works of God in the Bible were performed in Russia. A great many unbelievers witnessed the living God and His powerful works with their own eyes. The seeds of faith were planted in their hearts through this. The remarkable thing to remember was that numerous intellectuals came to acknowledge the works of God through scientific and medical evidences. 2003 Russia Miracle Healing Festival brought about hope of life to Russians who had to live day by day in despair owing to the side-effects and misunderstanding of Capitalism after perestroika, the Russian reformation policy after the fall of communism. The festival was like a ray of light which lighted a long dark tunnel. When the wonderful works of God was spread to all over Russia, many e-mails and letters came from the government, TV stations, and many churches. The influence by the crusade around Russian society was so great. I am going to lead Russian Evangelization through books and broadcasting At the end of the crusade, I felt I could have done better. But I was very pleased that Russia Miracle Healing Festival ended with success, which I would never forget. After the festival, I visited Korea. I worshiped in Manmin Joong-ang Church every Sunday and attended Daniel prayer meeting every night with all my heart. I was much moved and received God's grace reading Rev. Dr. Lee's testimony ?asting Eternal Life before Death?and his book ?eaven I.?When I witnessed and experienced all the situations of Manmin Joong-ang Church, I was convinced God is always with Rev. Dr. Lee and his church. At last, I registered in the church in a Friday overnight service. Helping the crusade, I met Director of the Manmin Editorial Bureau, Sr. Deaconess Geumsun Bin who visited Saint Petersburg for the local publishing. By meeting her, I realized the importance of published materials for Russian evangelization. As I was moved much by the books of the church, I am longing to spread the Word of God and His powerful works to the souls of Russia through the books. "Let's spread the gospel all over Russia beyond the Urals" From now on, I am going to spread the love of Jesus Christ to numerous Russian unbelievers through the translating writings of Rev. Dr. Lee and other kinds of related materials. Nowadays I feel a stir in my heart with the vision of the Russian evangelization. I am sure the vision will come true. I pray and read the Bible much more than before. I call to God earnestly, "We need more workers. Father! Send workers who are ready for the harvest field."

My stuttering son Jonghyun awarded the first prize on the story-telling contest !

Deaconess Miok Kim September 30th, 2003 was my best day. It is unforgettable in my rest whole life. My son Jonghyun frequently stuttered, but won the first prize at the children's songs and story-telling contest held by the Manmin kindergarten. That day he returned home with a fine trophy lifted up in his hand, saying, "Mom, First prize!" At the unexpected sight, the sad past was reminded and tears gushed out from my eyes. God's answer, my son Jonghyun In March 1997, I met my tenderhearted and upright husband and got married. Since our marriage, my marital parents eagerly wanted me to give birth to a son because sons were rare in the family of my husband. So, I earnestly begged to God, "God, Give me a son, please!" One day of November, the next year, I gave birth to a son in the grace of God. Meantime, I had a second baby unexpectedly when my first son Jonghyun became one-year child. Since then, his character changed little by little. Until that time he used to be a good boy without complaining during the service or other church meetings, but he became too stubborn for me to deal with him and came to grumble too frequently. He even minded entering the sanctuary to worship God. In addition, he used to be very healthy before, but began to have a severe unbalanced diet and fell often ill. I had difficulty in dealing with him every day - in fact, I rebuked him or whipped him at my hot temper rather than love for him. Uneasy emotion and stuttering At last I gave birth to the second child, but from that time my son Jonghyun began to show the symptoms of uneasy emotion. Sometimes he released himself toward me lying down beside a newborn baby and ran up to me crying for milk whenever I prepared milk for the newborn baby. Jonghyun had learned language and spoken well better than any other baby. But he began to stutter in September 2001. At the sight, I was very surprised and pondered over things to repent. I repented my sins and received the prayer of Rev. Dr. Lee from the podium at the Sunday Morning service. After that, my son seemed to get well for some time, but began to stutter again because of my unchanged heart and deeds. My heart was upset and fretted each time someone spoke to him, and replied in place of him for fear he should turn out to be stuttering in the eyes of others. In that concealing attitude, my everyday life had seemed to be piercing into my heart like sharp needles, and anxiety and worries had stored up inside my heart. Furthermore, I did not have the mind to come to the shepherd to receive the prayer for my son's healing because I thought he was in that wretched situation because of me, and I tried only to hide my weakness from others' eyes feeling ashamed of it. I had majored in children's education and served the church as a Sunday children's school teacher. Later I became a financial director at the Sunday children's school. Because I had those careers, I became ashamed and depressed all the more. In the end, I called in a teacher of a special school to heal my son's stuttering and moved to another place to give him comfortable and peaceful environments. But all was in vain and he was still stuttering. After repenting my sins with weeping One day of May 2002, I heard a healing story of someone that he had been healed of his disease after he shook hands with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee with faith, and I considered it to be the way God had prepared for me. From that time on, I came to believe that God would heal my son's severe stuttering and my heart began to throb with joy. By the way, that day my son seemed to stutter more severely than before. My heart was painful and cried out with tears, "God, Please heal my wretched son!" But in less than a few minutes, I realized that God is not pleased with our prayer with sorrow and depression, and began again to pray to Him with thankful mind. I repented of my past misdeeds and wrong attitude. I repented that I had tried to heal my son in a worldly way. After that, I was full of joy and gratitude beyond description. I took my son to Senior Pastor, along with my husband and daughter. There I was greatly strained and a spiritual flash ran through all my body beyond expression when I saw my son shaking hands with Senior Pastor. At that time, to my surprise, my son plainly shouted, "Mom, I shook hands with Senior Pastor." How joyful and startling it was! I even doubted my ears. In the morning of that day it had not been easy not easy for him to say something, but at that moment he was speaking too plainly as if he had never been stuttering until then. Hallelujah! I won the first prize at the story-telling contest! I had never heard such clear and perfect word that he spoke for eight months. I asked him many more things to ascertain whether he stopped stuttering temporarily or whether he was completely healed. He left nothing to be desired. He and I surely experienced the power of God through it and he has been enjoying greeting and shaking hands with Senior Pastor on Sunday mornings. And I found that he had not kept pace with his friends in a fundamental living and attitude because he grew up and was tamed in my excessive care. So, I let him go to kindergarten every morning for his social force and adaptability. He used to be afraid only if he was left behind from me and feel scared at a little strong wind, but became strong and courageous since he went to Manmin kindergarten. Meanwhile, he attended the story-telling and children's song contest on September 30th, 2003 and won the first prize in the wonderful power of God. He stuttered severely one and a half years ago, but now awarded the first prize at the story-telling contest conducted by Manmin kindergarten. Some days ago, Manmin kindergarten had an examination on personality, aptitude and intellectuality of each child. My son Jonghyun received IQ 130, which is estimated to be average at people having the doctor's degree. In addition Jonghyun gained a good credit of speaking and listening by 130 of 150, which was the top in that aptitude. I give thanks to all teachers of Manmin kindergarten who have developed the aptitude and capacity of each child and educated my son with love and sincerity. And above all, I give all the glory and thanks to God the Father who healed my son Jonghyun and blessed my family with peace and spiritual growth, and give thanks to Senior Pastor who did not look down on a little child but prayed for him with earnest love.

God Healed My Stomach Cancer and Gave Me a Renewed Life!

Bongyoun Han (Male, 67) I had no hope for recovery after the diagnosis of stomach cancer In August 2002, my vomiting more often happened to me because of too much smoking and drinking. Afterwards when I was admitted to a hospital, my doctor told my family, without even saying the name of my disease, that I should be admitted to a larger hospital so soon. I felt I had been seriously ill. A few days later, I was admitted to Jeonbook Univ. Hospital. 1. Cells before receiving the prayer(Cancer seen) 2. Cells after receiving the prayer (No cancer) The doctor of the university hospital said, "It's stomach cancer. You must be operated." As if I had a little expected his diagnosis, I just listened to his word in a calm and dumbfounded manner. My weight was 38 kg and I was so skinny as to look like a corpse. Operation could not assure my recovery. In fact, my body was very dangerous because I had drunk too much until then and had been ill of lung tuberculosis and severe stomach disease. I thought my life could not escape from death. So, I chose to give up my life and lived day by day searching for only liquors alcohols rather than to try something for survival. Led to the Manmin Joong-ang Church by my Daughter Meanwhile, my second daughter deaconess Bonam Han and her husband deacon Sangbong Lee, and my son deacon Byoungwon Han and his wife deaconess Mikyoung Kim hurried to me. They advised me to come to Seoul with them, where I felt their love and kindness deeply. My second daughter, after her marriage, used to suffer from a severe family trouble and her family nearly fell into destruction because of her alcoholism. But her life was completely changed after she was guided to the Manmin Joong-ang Church. She met the living God through Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's message of life and his loving prayer. By degrees, she began to send out the aroma of Christ through her changing life, and guided her husband, son and daughter, elder brother and his wife and mother and father in law to the Lord and happy family life He blessed. In that way she gained favor and trust from her parents as well. Afterwards she had prayed for me who had no true faith for years with her husband, her brother and her sister-in-law. One day I was diagnosed as stomach cancer, but she regarded it as the chance of leading me to her church. She said to me, "Father, come to the Manmin Joong-ang Church together with us. This stomach cancer is a piece of cake with the power of God." At her earnest request, I began to listen to the audio tapes title "The Message of the Cross" preached by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, which she had given me. My faith grew up and my heart was moved at my children's loving care. At last, I made up my mind to come to the Manmin Joong-ang Church in Seoul on September 21, Chusuk the feast day the Korean Thanksgiving Day. Repenting My Past Sins with Much Weeping Next day, on September 22, I experienced a strange spiritual thing when I entered the gate of the Manmin Joong-ang Church to attend the Sunday worship service. Surprisingly, my stomachache of cancer was immediately gone according to the great grace of God. And He gave my heart rest and peace, and a special strength to stop smoking and drinking. At that time, my heart felt trembled with thanks for my children's loving and constant prayer. In particular, my daughter deaconess Bonam Han gave me peculiar sincerity. She shed a lot of tears day and night, and very often told me to live according to the word of God to be healed of my cancer. As she taught me, I tried my best to worship God with all my sincerity and best offerings each service, and did not fail to attend the meeting for divine healing of the Manmin Prayer House and to ask for God's grace. Last year, July 9th, one of my neighbors asked me to repair his rain-leaking roof. So I climbed his roof and repaired it. Then, I misstepped and fell down to the ground. Attracted by the words of life, I read 'Tasting eternal Life before Death'; the testimonial memoir of Rev. Jaerock Lee, 'The Message of the Cross', 'Heaven 1,2', 'Hell', 'The Measure of Faith' and so on. While reading them, I could look into myself and tried to have the hope of heaven. After repenting with tears at '2-week special revival Meeting' 3 months after I registered in my church, I got happy news about the 11th 2-week special Revival Meeting being held. I prayed eagerly to get healed at the Meeting and the members of Jeonju Manmin church helped me with their fasts and prayers. May 5, 2003, the Revival Meeting started. As I watched disabled people stand up from their wheelchairs to walk, I got more faith and hope for being healed. May 6, the second day of the Revival Meeting, it was a blessed day for me that I could never forget. Boknim Lee leading 'Prayer Meeting for the sick' from 10 AM said that "Before God, put down all your sins you've committed" then, overwhelming inspiration made me shiver. "Father, God, Forgive my dissipated life and accept me." When I was reminded of what I had sinned, I burst into tears and repented during the prayer. Jaerock Lee prayed for all the attendants, especially for patients after his sermon. Then my whole body became hot. As I received the fire of the Holy Spirit, I felt like flying in the air with a light heart. Immediately, a miracle took place. I got strength in my waist and legs, and I stood up by myself and walked to the platform holding my crutches in my hands. My wife watching this happening burst into tears with inexpressible joy and wondered if that was a dream or a real happening. Furthermore, while I was on the platform, my body from head to toe became so hot as if I had been in a fiery furnace. I sweated a lot and even my inner wear wetted through. I was filled with great pleasure and had a ruddy face. I was so excited that I couldn't think how to testify, and I just repeatedly said, "I give thanks to God." "Senior Pastor! Thank you."
