My Family Filled with Happiness, Joy and Love

My Husband Protected in an Accident When my husband said this at first, I thought he was kidding because he had no visible injuries on any part of his body. The story goes like this. My husband commutes to work every day on his bicycle. And on that particular day he was running across the crosswalk when the light was green, but he was hit by a taxi. But he says that he didn't feel even a bit of pain when he fell. He was taken to the hospital on an ambulance, where they examined him. But there was nothing wrong! Rather, my husband was trying to comfort the taxi driver and protect him from punishment. He didn't even demand for settlement money either. I was so thankful to God for protecting my husband. On top of that, I was so happy that my husband thoughtfully considered others first. If he hadn't been changed by the word of God he would have definitely stayed in the hospital. Just several years ago, he persecuted me about my going to church, but he has now become a completely different man. The Past Days In 1992, I was touched by Manmin News and began attending the Daniel Prayer Meetings. Becoming filled with the Holy Spirit through prayer, I registered at Manmin Church by myself and started my life of faith. And though I had led a religious life before that, I wasn't quite sure about heaven and hell. But as I listened to the messages of Dr. Jaerock Lee, I was able to feel and touch the spiritual realm and my soul was like a fish that finally found water. Becoming fully drenched in God's word, I strived only for heaven. And so I began to neglect things around me. I didn't care about my husband's complaints and I had no worries about my children. I tried to comfort myself with the hope of heaven and the love of the Lord that filled my heart. But the relationship with my husband only grew worse. And now looking back on these days, I know that I was very wrong. While praying for my family's salvation, God helped me realize this. If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. (1 John 4:20) I discovered that I didn't really love my husband from my heart, and I repented with tears. And then, once again, I began taking care of my family members whom I had neglected. I tried to understand my husband and tried hard to serve him. And to my husband's complaints, I began to reply with a big smile on my face, "Yes honey, I am sorry. I will be more careful next time." God Healed My Son and Led My Husband One day, while my second son Sang-kyu was playing with his ball, he fell and broke his toe. Sang-kyu had been a Manmin member since he was in my womb. My husband wanted to take him to the hospital. And although he always listens to his dad, this time he refused, saying "Dad I won't go to the hospital. If it's ok with you, I want to go to church and receive prayer from the Senior Pastor." On the following Sunday, my husband took Sang-kyu to church. That day, Dr. Jaerock Lee was on an overseas business trip so he received prayer from Pastor Soo-yul Cho instead. But after his prayer, he ran up and down the stairs without any pain. After seeing this, my husband began attending Sunday morning services that very week. Moles Disappeared Only by Shaking Hands. "Mom! The mole is gone!" My daughter Hye-rim exclaimed, "Wow~ it just disappeared!" She pointed to the place where a mole on her hand used to be. Three years ago, Hye-rim began to develop about 30 moles on her feet, knee, and hands. All she did was shake hands with Dr. Jaerock Lee with a prayer request sticker labeled "Healing of moles", and one of the moles had vanished! As a teenage girl, the mole had been an emotional burden for her. Through this experience, Hye-rim came to have faith, and once again received prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee a week later. Soon after that, many of her moles disappeared, some of them just falling off here and there. And soon after, she became completely clean. From this experience, Hye-rim deeply felt the love of God, and she now worships God in spirit and in truth during the services. But surprisingly, my husband was rejoicing more than Hye-rim herself. He always felt heartbroken when he saw her daughter's hands. He was so overjoyed by her healing and his faith grew so much that he now fully keeps the Sabbath day holy and makes full tithes. And this is why, according to His justice, God protected him in the traffic accident that could have been fatal, leaving him perfectly unharmed. I am just overjoyed because my prayer and wish that my entire family would attend church together has been answered. I am especially thankful for my supportive husband. Nowadays when I come back from Friday night service, my husband kindly says "Feel free to sleep dear, I will take care of the breakfast." Looking back on the past I feel sorry for not serving my husband more. And now my husband seems to feel sorry for having persecuted me about going to church. I give all thanksgiving and glory to God, who led our family to the way of faith with such an amazing experience and His amazing love. l U.S.A l Holiness Gospel Brought Happiness and Healing of Quadriplegia - Jennifer Lacarrie(25) Jennifer and her daughter Chelsea Alexander Before I listened to the holiness gospel, my life was just a continuation of emptiness, fear, worries, tears, and sorrow. Each morning, when I woke up, I wished that God would take my life away. I had a daughter who was born with cerebral palsy and infantile paralysis. With quadriplegia she could only eat food through a tube and her suffering was beyond words. And when I got pregnant with my second child, my husband abused me physically and mentally. I could find no reason to live when people tried to avoid me. When I couldn't bear it all any longer, I moved to my mother's house with my daughter. Then one morning, I turned on the television to watch the Christian channel, but there was problem with the TV cables, so I could only watch GCN. When I first heard Dr. Jaerock Lee's message from the channel, my heart was touched and for 6 months I watched the GCN programs several times a day. And I was so impressed while reading Dr. Jaerock Lee's books, Heaven and Tasting Eternal Life Before Death. I hadn't ever heard this kind of clear and spiritual message before, telling me that I should live according to the word, cast off the lust of the flesh, love God the most, and be faithful in all God's houses anywhere else. I earnestly prayed to God to lead me to a church that preaches this holiness gospel. And only a few months later I was given Pastor James Sim's e-mail address and visited New York International Manmin Church. When I told Pastor James about my problems, he suggested that I send a picture to Seoul and receive Dr. Jaercok Lee's prayer. So I sent my daughter's picture and received prayer on it. Soon after that, her eyes, muscles, and sleeping problems were healed. Previously, her bones protruded and she didn't even have strength to grab anything. She always had to visit the hospital and take medication. She was pretty much a vegetable human. But after the prayer, she can now eat well and has gained much weight. Now, she is singing praises, walking around, and growing up well in good health. All of these were made possible by the power of God. Believing that the time of suffering was the process of meeting the living God, I feel only thankfulness. Now I am really happy because I can live for the glory of God. l Peru l I Was Completely Healed of New Influenza - Danitza Villazon Gabriel (11) On the night of July 11th, I suddenly had a severe headache and pain all over my bones. I had a stomach ache, diarrhea, and my body temperature rose to 40 degrees C (104 degrees F). After spending the entire night in pain, I was taken to a hospital on an ambulance the very next day. All of this turned out to be the Swine flu. I was scared. The doctor said that I had to wear a mask and be quarantined. He said I needed to take antibiotics and injections. My family called Pastor Jung-yun Chang (Ministering Peru Manmin Church) and I received the handkerchief prayer (Acts 19:11~12). At that moment I felt a strong fire surrounding my body and had an assurance that I was healed! Then, I knelt down with my family members and earnestly prayed to God. God reminded me of the moments that I didn't live by His word and I felt so sorry before God. After I repented, the fever that didn't seem to go away gradually disappeared. All the symptoms went away one by one, so I could enjoy a deep sleep at night. The following day, Pastor Jung-yun Chang ministered the handkerchief prayer over the phone. And the pain and diarrhea was completely gone. I quickly recovered my health. I didn't take any medication or injections, nor did I receive any hospital treatment. This experience was an opportunity for my family to have faith and be united as one in love. I give thanks and glory to God for this wonderful experience. Swine flu is a new strain of the influenza virus. The number of patients amounts to hundreds of thousands of victims and there are about 5000 patients in Korea alone, and the number of casualties is only rising. People are afraid that the disease might spread throughout the world by this coming autumn. l Taiwan l We Were Protected From Typhoon Morakot - Pastor Miao Zhen Hong (Chinese Christion Miracle Association) Due to typhoon Morakot, Taipei had a rainstorm that dropped 3000mm (about 118 inches) of rainfall with violent winds. All of Taipei was devastated; buildings, stores, and apartments collapsed, roads and bridges cracked open. The casualties amounted to over 500. The news channels around the world reported that this was the worst typhoon damage in 50 years. The high mountain village, where I work, was also within reach of the typhoon. The Shin Zhu Shi Rei prayer center is located at the summit of this mountain. Due to the storm, the rain poured unceasingly, causing landslides in several places and closing off many roads. The violent winds in the high mountain area were so strong that it looked like they could blow the houses away. The residents had to have been in great fear that something might happen to them. I called Taipei Manmin Church before the Friday all night service and asked for prayer. Pastor Kyung-hee Kim notified the situation to Manmin Central Church, asking for Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. When Dr. Jaerock Lee prayed for our church after the message, a miracle happened. Though the typhoon stayed in Taipei for 3 days, not only the prayer center, but our houses and facilities were perfectly fine as though nothing had even happened. Hallelujah! I confess from the center of my heart that God Almighty is surely living. I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jaerock Lee, Senior Pastor of Manmin Central Church, for manifesting the great power of God!

In May 2006, after discovering my calling in the moving vehicle advertisement business, I quit my job and started my own business. Though I worked day and night, I never got tired of dreaming of success. At first, it all seemed to be going well, as I became known as a sincere person. But before long, I met great difficulties. First I failed to receive payment after finishing some design work; not once, but twice. To make matters worse, starting one very slow day, the incoming orders crawled nearly to a halt. It seemed like even things that easily seemed possible before turned impossible. I was in the middle of a very miserable financial crisis. My wife's entire paycheck went to pay off my debts. And each day and every day only brought more and more suffering. As I was visited by third grand parish pastors and thirty-second parish pastor, I was able to finally realize the spiritual root of the problem. I then learned that I had to stand right before God by keeping the Sabbath holy and giving proper tithes. My job was to design advertisements on vehicles, so I had an especially huge workload on Sundays, which is when the buses don't run. And so I figured that since 'not working on the Sabbath day' is pretty much the same thing as giving up my business, and because 'God understands my situation,' I believed my case was an exception. But this was the problem. And without prayer, I had never even realized this was wrong. When he acted by God's word alone without involving his own thoughts, his business grew as he received more and more orders. Repenting with tears, I handed over all the orders that required me to work on Sunday. It was not easy at first. Although I had decided to follow God's word, I still left for work after Sunday morning service, and I thought that would be OK. But I still couldn't ignore the voice I heard from inside. I was compromising with the world. Those members who testified about God's blessings were able to turn their lives around by showing faith. Thus, I made up my mind to give up working on the Sabbath day entirely, despite the fact that I could make a big profit. When I did that, God allowed me to work on brand new cars that had just come out of the factory. This was God's wisdom, since the factories don't operate on Sunday and I could work on the weekdays. Whenever I made a profit, I separated the tithes. And I erased my name from the list at the Buddhist temple that my mother had put in for me. I quit smoking and drinking and started a life of prayer. It was a decision I made to live as God's true child. And with my wife, I went to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee and received a prayer for my business. And surprisingly, from that point on, I began to receive orders from large companies. We couldn't even accept the larger scale projects, because we just didn't have enough capital. And then God gave us work that had lower production costs so that we could have greater fixed earnings. As we gained more and more contracts, the business grew and the amount of our tithes increased. The blessing is still overflowing to this day. I'm so thankful to God for the grace that allowed me to have a satisfied heart through the difficult times. And to the God who only really wants to give true blessings in every aspect of our life and, more importantly, assure the prosperity of our souls, I give all the glory and thanksgiving.

With his wife Kwang-Ok Hwang Deacon Dong-il Kim (age 75) of Choonchun Manmin Church experienced this touching work of God just a few months ago: On May 23 I suddenly started to have pain on the left side of my body and red spots began to cover my belly and back. It felt like I was being stuck with needles. All of this turned out to be Herpes Zoster. The doctor said that it would last anywhere from two to four months, and that I should rest. Herpes Zoster is a condition where, when the immune system is weak, dormant chicken pox viruses activate and attack nerve cells. This can be very dangerous to older people. Seeing me wake up several times a night from great pain that I would feel even when the affected area was only slightly touched, my wife, Senior Deaconess Kwang-Ok Hwang prayed and fasted for me. And I depended only on God, spraying Muan Sweet Water on my body and attending worship services. On June 5, I came to Seoul and received a prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee. After the prayer, the pain went away and scabs began to form over the infected area. Within a week, while once again receiving prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee, I saw fire coming into my body. This book, which encourages the reader to have faith and to trust in God, is a blessing that gives hope to many people. I also was touched by this book and am leading a happy life with hopes of heaven. With a thankful heart, I'd like to share my testimony of how I experienced the power of God after receiving Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. My mother-in-law was suffering from an infection on her whole body and also from arteriovenous atresia. Her blood pressure and immune system became weakened. The hospital couldn't find any cause and could only say that she had a rare disease that only one out of a thousand people have. For 7 years, she lived as a patient and had to be hospitalized every three months. But in April of 2003, I had the chance to receive a prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee who was visiting the Middle East. This was truly impossible without the help of God. Keep praying and receive the wisdom from above. As he started his business, many people advised him not to cease to pray. And he could throw away the anxiety about his business when he prayed to God. And he asked God for wisdom needed to run his business in prayer. Then God helped him come up with idea so that he could strike deals without difficulty. At first, he prayed like "God, this company looks good to me. Please let me make a contract with this company." But one day he heard this voice from inside 'Do not make decisions on your own.' He obeyed this and depended on God. And he had this experience that he gained selling rights to products of a major pharmaceutical company after receiving Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. He realized he could unexpectedly receive big blessings if he commits everything to God and prays. Since he treated each staff member with the love of the Lord, God sent good and faithful staff members. Looking back, he realizes that his wife's eager prayer also played a big part in this blessing. I Am Blessed with My Son Sung-kyul after 13 Years of Marriage.

By the prayer of blessing for conception, I finally received the answer that I looked forward to receiving. The whole family turned into festival mood and my mother-in-law even shed tears of joy. My younger sister's pregnancy after four years of marriage brought even more joy. Suhee Lim of Chunchon Manmin Church feels like she's walking on air each day feeling the love of God more deeply after giving birth to her son Sung-kyul after 13 years of her marriage. "Right after marriage, I didn't want a baby. I had to concentrate on studying and my work. But later I constantly failed to become pregnant even though I really wanted to conceive. We looked into famous clinics, but they couldn't find any problems." She became increasingly anxious and lost confidence. She suggested to her husband "What about adopting a baby if we fail to conceive by the age of 40." She even thought about raising pets abandoned on the streets instead of having a child to fill the void. But still she couldn't give up the hope of having her own baby. She joined Manmin Central church through her mother-in-law in April 2007. Several times, after seeing countless blessings of conception received by other couples, she received prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee. But she still failed to conceive. "I received the prayer just because I wanted a baby not truly in faith." But God was waiting for the couple to keep peace with one another and to possess true faith. Meanwhile, her husband Kwankyu Lee (Professor of Gangwon University, Korea) volunteered to do a gardening work around the church. Through this, the entire family could receive the prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee. She visited hospital after she felt symptoms in the body 2 months later and discovered that she was pregnant. The whole family was in a festival mood and her mother-in-law even shed tears with joy. And the pregnancy of her younger sister, who had received the prayer together with her at the time, brought even more joy to the family. When they tried hard to live by the Word and dedicated prayer with joyful hearts, God allowed this blessing to the family. "Being so thankful, I named my son Sung-kyul (which means 'Holiness' in Korean), and since the day we confirmed the pregnancy, we offered thanksgiving and construction offerings in Sung-kyul's name." Working in Gangwon Province office, sometimes she felt it exhausting to stay faithful to God. But she tried to make sure she attended worship services and Daniel Prayer Meetings. In about the 6th month of her pregnancy, she experienced a crisis. It was the threatening situation of the pregnancy aborting, but she received the Senior Pastor's prayer and found peace in her heart. On Sunday, April 5th at 9 AM she safely delivered her son. She confesses that she felt the sincere love of God toward each soul after having her child and said she wanted to dedicate herself to saving souls and pay back the grace of God.

When plagues came down upon Egypt prior to the Exodus, God protected the land of Goshen, the land where the Israelites dwelled. Still today we can meet people of Manmin who experience the protection of God. Fire Stopped Right in Front of the House Deaconess Hwasook Kim * Hwasook Kim's house * The factory after the fire "The factory next to your house is on fire! Come quickly!" At the moment she heard this on the phone Hwasook Kim was in Asan, a city that was far away from her house. She committed everything to God. She asked Pastor Hwanjoon Oh (Asan Manmin Church) to lead the service and had a prayer meeting. Her heart was at peace. Then, what was the result? Even though nine fire engines arrived at the scene, the whole building burnt down in about 10 minutes. But her house was not damaged at all. Later she heard the raging fire suddenly stopped before it reached her house as though a strong wind came out of the blue and kept the fire from spreading. While I Was Sound Asleep Hye-in Go with her mother Kyungsook Chung Hye-in Go fell into deep sleep after coming back home from a family picnic. After seeing a kind of emergency happening of the electric mat on which she was sleeping burning in her dream, she woke up. She woke up her mother and quickly put out a real fire. When she lifted up the blanket she found it had already burned a lot. It was such an urgent moment that might have led to a bigger fire. God saved them from disaster through her dream. Protection at the Construction Site Deacon Kwangyang Ahn At a construction site, Kwangyang Ahn was removing building materials from the ceiling that was 6 meters high. The 4m-long strut supports weighing 15-16Kgs were falling down upon him. At that moment he turned his head thinking he would die, but a support dropped only touching his hands and hip and then fell to the ground. Actually, he was in a crisis situation in which he could have lost his life or been seriously injured. His colleagues all agreed that it was God who saved him from death. Protected in the Crash on the Highway - Jong-il Lee While driving along the central highway Jong-il Lee dozed off and collided with 1-ton truck running ahead of him. While his car was spinning around another car crashed into his car. But even in this dangerous moment, he wasn't hurt at all except that he had minor bruises on the face and legs while his car was damaged to the point it had to be scrapped. His car severely damaged after the accident The policeman in charge looked quite surprised saying that I was very lucky.

l Butembo, DR Congo l The God's Blessing Came upon Our Family after the Handkerchief Prayer Sheila Kavira Palia I was only waiting for death with stomach cancer. It had recurred again and again so my body was in an extremely weak condition after 4 surgeries. "How about going to Nairobi hospital and receiving surgery one last time?" I hopped on a plane to Nairobi by myself. Elder Muhindo came to see me at the airport. He recommended that I meet Bishop Dr. Myongho Cheong and receive his prayer prior to going to the hospital. At first, I couldn't accept it. But he confidently said that almighty God could heal any diseases even though it's impossible with human ability. Sungguk Kim (New Daegu Manmin Church) From January 2008, I felt greatly so fatigued to the point that I couldn't lead a normal life and I lost desire to live. I suffered severely from indigestion and stomach aches. I felt pressure like someone was choking me from the back. "You have diabetes. Normally, the blood sugar level is about 126mg%, but you are at 327-384mg%. What is worse, you have stomach and duodenal ulcer. The organs have been damaged due to the complications. You have to be hospitalized immediately. I was so desperate. Usually, diabetes doesn't have noticeable symptoms until it becomes very serious as it was with my case. Eventually, I even had to quit working. As a member of New Daegu Manmin Church I envied those who were healed of diseases by the power of God through Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. I so much wondered how they could receive the answers and I reflected on myself and tried to live by the word of God. And finally, I came to confess to others "I am enjoying a happy and peaceful life by believing in God." When I decided to commit everything to God concerning the healing of diabetes and the complications from it, my family, Pastor Wansup Sim, and church members together prayed and fasted for me. . In March, 2009 when I received the prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee, strength was given to my body and I began to see clearly. From that point on, the blood sugar level stayed at normal level even after I ate as much as I wanted and the organs recovered as well. From a Jobless Man to the Owner of Two Vegetable Stores Deacon Hangsuk Bang (1-2 Parish, 2-1 Men's Mission) Happy moment of his family (From left Jion, Jisung, Deacon Hangsuk Bang and his wife Deaconess Jungsuk Park) "We find life thrilling when unexpected things happen in our lives. A good example is the following story of a man who was once a salaried businessman but now has become the head of a few vegetable stores." This was what happened after I lost my job during the Korea's IMF financial crisis in 1999. I was eating at a restaurant and saw a truck loaded with vegetables passing by. I thought this was what I really needed, and prepared a truck and started to sell vegetables going around in the streets. Without experience I had to undergo many troubles. But as God was with Joseph wherever he was, I believed God is watching me all the time and makes me learn through difficulties. So I tried to give thanks even when the sales were not good. Then God made me open up a little store at the corner of a street in Nangok-dong, Gwanak District, Seoul, Korea. I named the store 'A Dollar Vegetable Store' wanting to sell vegetables at an affordable price. And I treated each customer with kindness and walked the right path by providing fresh and good quality vegetables. I had to calm myself down to keep from provoking my mental anxiety whenever I went to the wholesale market. In that place where people argue about money, I felt sorry before God when I sometimes raised my voice. Can I act like this as a believer in God? I prayed and discovered myself seeking my benefit and giving hard times to others. But as I accomplished the generous heart and conceded to others, my heart couldn't be more comfortable. Nothing can block it when God is willing to give blessing. Actually I was inspired to open up another chain store while I was in prayer. Though others advised me saying "What you are thinking is impossible! You have to think more before you act" However, I gain even greater assurance. That's how I opened up a new chain of the 'A Dollar Vegetable Stores.' Before I took charge of this place, I stood in front of the store on a daily basis and prayed "I want to take charge of this place if You let me. Otherwise, I will give up." I opened the third, fourth and fifth stores and I was fully dependant on God. I paid the whole tithe on my total income including salaries for the staff and other expenses. When I failed to keep the tithe due to financial troubles, I wrote it down and later offered everything at one time. It was in 1995 when I was led to Manmin Central Church through Dr. Jaerock Lee's testimonial memoirs Tasting Eternal Life Before Death. At that time I was thirsty for the word of God and was deep in love with spiritual messages. I remember I knelt down overwhelmingly touched while listening to the message 'Heaven' on audio tapes. Everywhere in the church was filled with grace so I felt like I was in Heaven. I felt happy just being a Manmin member. With a thankful heart for the grace, my wife and I are dedicating ourselves as one of the Prayer Devotees and a member of Manmin Volunteers' Mission. And our family again felt the deep love of God through our youngest, six-year-old son, Jion, He suffered from runny nose and had difficulty breathing. At the hospital he was diagnosed with otitis media, empyema, and rhinitis. We prepared to receive the prayer of Senior Pastor with prayer and fasting, and after receiving his prayer, Jion was healed completely. We feel nothing but thankfulness for the love of God who embraces us more warmly when we trust and rely on Him in any kind of situation.

God Healed Me of Cystitis

Deaconess Jungim Kang (Gumi Manmin Church) With her husband Yoonbok Yang Beginning on March 21st I passed urine that looked like water leftover from washing rice and urinating was painful to the point of making my whole body ache. Even after sitting on the toilet twenty to thirty minutes I didn't feel good at all. And I couldn't sleep deeply at night going to the bathroom excessively. When I searched internet to find out what was wrong, I knew that I had Cystitis. 'Our church members have given glory to God after being healed of more serious diseases than this. I also have to commit this to God.' On March 31st I received the prayer from Senior Pastor. But the symptoms seemed to get worse. But with an assurance of healing I wasn't discouraged. And in four days, I realized that I was healed. At night I could fall into deep sleep without waking up until morning. When I passed urine that once looked like rice water, the urine became normal. My husband saw this and it gave him faith. Now the Cystitis has completely gone and I feel like I am flying in the air.

I was amazed to hear this unexpected news after just two years from the time that I had started working because it was difficult for others even in three years. I thought I have to glorify God by being blessed in both sprit and flesh as a Christian. So in the workplace I tried to do my best in everything even if it was not something my job required. In addition, I attended the Daniel Prayer Meeting every night to spiritually take care of myself and I tried to keep the fullness of the Holy Spirit in my heart through joining volunteer activities in Canaan Mission, which is a gathering of college graduates within the church who are not married. I was so grateful for the love of God when I heard about the news thinking 'Blessings come in a totally unexpected ways!' My colleagues rejoiced with me, saying, "Since you joined here, you've kept your faith. It was good to see you always working faithfully." I give thanks to God who has answered me since I prayed to find my job, and now blessed me with a good salary.

I Am Free from the Aftereffects of Cancer Surgery

Deacon Nakyung Shin (3-32 Parish, 2-5 Women's Mission) In November, 2006 I felt weary both mentally and physically, and I started to have bloody stools and lost 1kg of weight a day. I was diagnosed with the 3rd stage of colon cancer. The doctor said even after the surgery, I had to receive post-surgical therapy 12 times. I thought I had strong patience but the anticancer treatment was hard to bear. I lost my hair and hours of injections made me feel nauseous and I couldn't eat well. I even thought I would die soon. With a desperate heart, I tried to find hope in God. Though I had looked at many churches seeking the Word of God, I wasn't fully satisfied. I went to Manmin Central Church led by my younger brother Hangchul Shin. There I could see many members giving testimonies after being healed and blessed. God says in Exodus 15:26, "I, the LORD, am your healer." Though I was sick, I kept attending Daniel Prayer Meetings and Manmin Prayer Center Healing Meetings every day and the Friday All-night Service every week. My younger brother picked me up with his car each time. Through the messages I realized that all diseases come from sins and I became certain of my healing when I repented and depended on God with faith. I stopped receiving anticancer treatment and tried to find the wall of sin between God and myself instead. One day in July the spirit of repentance came upon me. I thoroughly repented not having truly loved and forgiven others though I thought I knew a lot about the Word of God. I met Senior Pastor with my family and received his prayer. Through this, along with the assurance of my healing, I had joy and hoped even more to live by the Word as God's child. From that point on, I could lead a joyous life of faith with the assurance of believing that 'I am no longer sick because God healed me. I am strong.' And actually, I no longer had pain. I visited the hospital last March to be confirmed of my healing. Of course, it turned out that I was healed. Being healthy both in spirit and body, I am enjoying my second life working hard on my Job.
