My Lord Made My Life Worth Living

Sister Bokrae Shin (Miryang Manmin Church) I once could not imagine that I would be able to lead a happy life. I had been inflicted with many kinds of diseases for a long while. I weighed 59.5 pounds due to surgery on my large intestines at the age of 38. I even was stricken by a stroke when I was just 40. Then, I underwent a medical operation to have cyst in my brain removed. I had been getting weaker and more fragile. Moreover, I used to take various kinds of medicine such as tranquillizer, digestive tablets, and so on owing to heart valve disease and arthritis. What made matters worse, in August 2010, my dependable husband passed away. It seemed that nothing encouraged me to live, so I just lied down without eating and thought that 'my life itself is so painful. I want to die with him.' Meanwhile, I started to feel pain in my lower abdomen and it was swollen as big as a soccer ball. It caused me to have severe constipation and even depression. I kept thinking that 'I will sell my house, give the money to my children, and take my own life in the sea in Busan.' In the early January 2011, however, my neighbor, Deaconess Sangquae Kim of Miryang Manmin Church, gave me Dr. Jaerock Lee's testimonial book Tasting Eternal Life before Death. I read the book when I could not sleep at night. Dr. Lee used to be in anguish because of many kinds of diseases. Among all his body parts only his two eyes were normal. However, he met God and was cured of all the diseases he had at once. I could not stop shedding tears of emotion reading the book. Above all, I wanted to meet the living God. On January 9th, I registered at Miryang Mnamin Church and was so glad to see Dr. Lee, the author of the book, on the screen of GCN. After delivering the message, he told believers to lay their hands on their sick parts and receive the prayer. I put my hands on my lower abdomen that had been troubling me a lot. During the prayer, I felt something moving in my stomach and had a short pain. That very night, amazing works took place. The abdominal swelling as huge as a soccer ball subsided. All pains completely vanished. What's more, I was healed of other diseases: urinary incontinence; asthma, which had troubled me for 30 years; constipation and backache, which were caused by brain surgery and large intestine surgery; and a lump on my right wrist. Hallelujah! Now I can work out and even run whenever and wherever I want. I feel like I am living in a dream. Our church has been carrying on the evangelism campaign. I have earnestly taken part in it and spread the Lord of love to whomever I met. Tears well up and flow down on my face when I think of God who set me free from diseases, the Lord who was crucified on the cross to redeem me from my sins, and my Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who prayed for me. I am Eager to Spread the Good News in Mongol

Deacon Anhbayar Ganbaatar (Foreigners' Parish) I accepted the Lord as my Savior during my first year in National University of Mongolia. It was astounding for me that He is my Savior who redeemed me from my sins. I was filled with my first love for the Lord. I started to study the Bible, which helped my faith grow greatly. Notwithstanding, I still had many questions such as the reason why God placed the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, life in the Garden of Eden, and so on. I struggled to find the right answers to them by reading a slew of Christian books, but they just remained unanswered. I was greatly distressed. My spiritual thirst was satisfied through a missionary who had been sent to Mongol by Manmin Central Church. He delivered the holiness gospel which clearly elaborates the answers to my questions and even the reasons why Jesus Christ is our only Savior in detail. I came to understand the true meaning of Christian life and have a better understanding about Heaven and Hell. On April 27th, 2003, I registered as a member of Mongol Manmin Church during its church opening service. Listening to Dr. Lee's sermons via Internet and witnessing the powerful works and healing miracles manifested through him, I was keen to see him in person. In the meantime, I heard that the 2003 Russia Miracle Healing Festival would be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia in November of the year. I went to Russia to attend the event. Dr. Lee delivered the message and prayed for the sick. I was amazed by an array of testimonies. Many were healed of many diseases, and crippled people stood up from their wheelchairs on their own at his prayer from the podium. I was overwhelmed with amazement. I will never forget the moment. This served a good occasion to increase my faith. In December 2004, I suffered from coughing up bloody phlegm with a high fever. My mother, who is a doctor, advised me to take medicine saying that it could get worse and lead to pneumonia. However, I wanted to be healed by faith. After listening to Dr. Lee's message, I received his prayer. I became hot and started to sweat. Afterwards, I was completely healed. Watching me experience God's powerful works, my mother and believers around me were so astounded. As time went by, I became more eager to visit Manmin Central Church in Seoul. I wanted to learn the Word firsthand there, increase my faith, and preach the gospel in my home country. In the end, I came to Korea in February 2008. I felt it was the right place for me. Listening to Dr. Lee's messages on Hell in 2009, my vision I had harbored to work as a missionary of Manmin Central Church became much stronger and clearer. I took courses of MMTC (Manmin Missionary Training Center. I also studied 'The Message of the Cross', 'The Measure of Faith', and 'Spirit, Soul, & Body' through programs of MIS (Manmin International Seminary). I am charged in severing and transforming steel plates in my workplace. This job is quite dangerous, but God has always protected me and given financial blessings. I have felt the love of the Lord through the Word of God. The more I realize His love, the more I want to pay back His grace. I will go back to Mongolia soon and spread the Word of Life in my home country. I give all the thanks and glory to God the Father who has let me know true value of life and given me clear vision.

I Am So Happy Because My Mother-in-law Was Evangelized

Deaconess Mihyun Kim (Cell Leader, Gwangju Manmin Church) I have led a happy life feeling like I gained the whole world. This is because I have taken part in the church-wide evangelism campaign. Since January, members of Gwangju Manmin Church have evangelized people under the slogan 'I Cannot Go to Heaven Alone!' During this campaign, my mother-in-law was the first person who came to my mind. I often went all the way to her home in Jangseong in Southern Jeolla Province to visit her and let her know the gospel. By car it takes 40 minutes to get there from my home in Gwangju City. It took quite a while, but it was my pleasure. I served her with all my heart to help her have faith. However, on February 19th she told me, "I do not know how to read and I am not interested in Christianity, either! I will not go to church any more. You do not need to pick me up anymore to go to church." However, she had a strange dream the following day. In the dream, I was going up on a winding road. There were 3 people in bright and gorgeous clothes welcoming me in the distance. Deep-blue water like the sea flowed down along the road. I held her hand tightly on the rough road with happiness. She was so weary that she tried to let go of my hands. Even though I shouted, "Mother! Never let go my hands off," she turned back. But right behind her was a vertiginous drop that caused her to reel in dizziness. She woke up from the dream screaming with fear. Since then, she has attended Gwangju Manmin Church earnestly. Together with her parents-in-law and 4 other people she evangelized My parents passed away a long while ago, so my parents-in-law are like my own parents to me. I called them every day and gave them monetary gifts. I listened to Dr. Jaerock Lee's message with them on their birthdays or during holidays to provide a way for them to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. I believe God received my love and devotion towards them with joy and led my mother-in-law to have faith through the dream. In addition, she used to have nightmares and felt choked during sleeping. Now she does not suffer from them. I am so pleased with seeing Sister Jeongsim Go, who is my sister-in-law, and her family evangelized. I had prayed and longed for her family to go to Heaven together with us. Meanwhile, she came to suffer a financial loss amounting to 4,500 dollars in her business. I visited her home with parish pastor and we offered a service to God with her. She received the handkerchief prayer during the service. Then, she experienced God's work by regaining the loss during the week. This incident served an occasion for her to have true faith. In the end, she started to attend our church with her family. She even evangelized her friend. I also invited my son's private tutor to Gwangju Manmin Church's 15th Anniversary Service on March 13th. She registered as a member on that very day. The happy church atmosphere and Pastor Esther Chung's message filled with inspiration made her heart open up. Feeling my longing heart to go to beautiful Heaven with them, the Lord gave me such abundant blessings. I am overwhelmed with happiness to go to the gorgeous Heaven with my family. I hope that there will be a growing number of people who enter the beautiful heavenly kingdom. I give all thanks and glory to God.

Deaconess Mihyang Kim (Daejeon Manmin Church, Teacher in Maekok Elementary School) "Ms. Kim! What's wrong with you?" December 28, 2010, I coughed hard when sitting on my chair at my school. I heard a sound in my right ribs, which was like I broke them. I fell onto the ground in severe pain. With the help of my co-workers I managed to get up. I went for a medical examination because I had coughed for two months. My doctor told me that I broke the first right rib and had symptoms of hydrothorax, and pneumonia. He said that it was necessary for me to undergo a 4 to 6-week medical treatment. He recommended that I should be hospitalized. However, I had seen many healing cases manifested through Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. I also wanted to receive healing by faith. I searched for the reason why I was out of God's protection. I had often skipped Wednesday Service, Friday all-night Service, and prayer meetings. I had been lukewarm in my faith having untruth, hatred, and fleshly thoughts. I looked back on my life and thoroughly repented. On the following day, Daejeon Manmin Church had a handkerchief healing meeting. Pastor Taesik Kil fervently prayed for the sick with the handkerchief as in Acts 19:11-12. After the prayer, I felt the broken bone set together, the pain disappeared, and the strength came from above. Of course, I stopped coughing too. Since then, I have tried to live by the Word of God by attending services and prayer meetings eagerly. On January 2nd, I visited Dr. Lee and received his prayer. He urged me not to cease praying even if I am busy. He prayed for me with love. To my surprise, my remaining pain completely disappeared. On January 11th, I underwent a medical checkup once more. There appeared to be no symptom. Hallelujah! With a grateful heart toward the Lord I serve God as a teacher of Children's Sunday School and as a member of our church choir. Deacon Soochan Kang (Masan Manmin Church) 'What? What is wrong with his fingers?' In 2008, after my wife Deaconess Mikyung Yoon gave birth to my son Hyunho Kang, she stayed in a postnatal care center. Washing his hands, she noticed that his mid fingers of both hands were bent. The doctor said it was impossible for a new-born child like him to receive surgery, so we had to just wait. My wife and I were so shocked that we fasted and prayed for our son, but there was no difference. I suggested to my wife that we stop watching TV and shopping online. To be honest, I had been immersed in online gaming and my wife in online shopping. I had hardly prayed for 2 years and did not keep the Lord's Day holy, but instead watched TV. 1. Before prayer (5 months old, July 30th, 2008) 2. After prayer (37 months old, March 15th, 2011) On November 26 of 2010, we repented of such sins and received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. A few days later, his fingers started to straighten out little by little. Seeing his fingers get better, we came to have faith and decided to give 21-day vowed prayer during Daniel Prayer Meeting from January 1st. After our prayer, our son was completely healed. Since I Met the Lord of Healing, I Have Led a Happier Christian Life Than Ever Before!

Sister Minkyung Lee (1-1 Canaan Mission) Sister Minkyung Lee is playing percussion instruments as a member of Nissi Orchestra Last November, I had a stomachache, and severe pain troubled me a lot. However, I did not take it seriously thinking that I would be ok after receiving Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. For a month after that I had been fine, but I started to feel serious pain again. As a result I had a gynecological examination in a big hospital. My ultrasound result showed that I had a 3 cm ovarian cyst. The doctor said, "You are still young. But how could you neglect your health like this?" He added that it was a very rare case for women in the early twenties to have such a cyst. He went on to say that if the cyst became larger or turned out to be malignant 2 months later, I would have to undergo surgery. I came to examine myself. I had thought I could be healed just by Dr. Lee's prayer without repentance. I started to realize my wrongdoings. I had not completely cut off worldly things using the excuse of my family members who did not believe in God. I broke peace with them and wanted others to understand me. I repented of those sins and fasted. While offering a vowed prayer, on February 21st, a day before another ultrasound, I became filled with the Holy Spirit more than usual. I went to bed after receiving Dr. Lee's prayer recorded on the telephonic Automated Response Service. I had a dream in which someone knocked my house door. It sounded urgent and a voice told me, "Sister Minkyung Lee, Dr. Lee is coming." I was in a hurry to see him. The bright light there took my breath away. He showed me a big smile saying, "I am here because I want to see you. Now I am leaving." He hugged me in his arms and then disappeared. Doctor's note after receiving prayer: No symptoms, nothing out of the ordinary I was so convinced that I had been healed because I had such a vivid dream after repentance. I visited the hospital to see my ultrasound result. My doctor said, "Fortunately, the ovarian cyst disappeared." How glad I was! Since then, I have enjoyed happiness listening to Dr. Lee's sermons and praises. I have led a happy Christian life understanding the heart of the Lord more and more. I am eager to pay back His grace all the more.

Sister Kilsoon Yang (Geumsan Gun, Chungnam Province) "I have not believed in God for a long time. Do you really think that I will be healed by the prayer?" "Yes, mother! I have prayed for you. Many patients have received healing during the Divine Healing Meeting of Friday All-night Service. I believe God will cure you if you come to the church." I was inflicted with severe pain because of hemorrhoids. Since January of 2011, due to the severe bloody discharge I had to change my underwear 3 or 4 times a day. I needed to undergo medical treatment. Recognizing my pain, my daughter fervently prayed for me and tried to evangelize me. On February 24th, she insisted that I go to Seoul with her. While staying at her house in Seoul, I watched various programs on GCN (Global Christian Network) such as sermons, praises, testimonies and so on as she asked me to do. After listening to Dr. Jaerock Lee's messages, I received his prayer for the sick. I attended the Divine Healing Meeting with Manmin Prayer Center President Mrs. Boknim Lee and received her prayer, too. At 5 PM on that same day, I was watching GCN and as usual, I went to bathroom to change my underwear. How surprising! Not only was my underwear clean, but also hemorrhoids completely disappeared. I felt so astounded. That night, I attended both the first half of Friday all-night service and the following Divine Healing Meeting with a longing heart. As instructed, I laid my hands on my sick part when Dr. Lee prayed for those who were sick. After the prayer, pain in my back that had troubled me for 3 years disappeared and after-effects of accidents were healed. Moreover, I became free from suffering insomnia, works of demons, and auditory hallucination caused by my idolatry in the past. Nowadays, I feel like I am living in Heaven. My Wonderful Dream Is Continually Growing in Faith and Best Efforts!

Sister Dakyung Sung (Junior, Business Administration, Ewha Womans University) In July of 2010, my father, Elder Nakhoon Sung, showed amazing changes in his life after he listened to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's 4-session sermon "The Seed of Life." He began reading Dr. Lee's religious books for more than 7 hours every day. He also told other family members including me to buy the books and read them. He asked us to underline important parts of each book and bear them in our minds. Obeying my father's advice and focusing on armament of the Word of God I obeyed my father's advice and bought a few books authored by Senior Pastor Dr. Lee. I read them as attentively as studying my college textbooks. I could gain many realizations and have valuable experiences from the books. Above all, I came to know the fact that I should not only bear the message preached in my mind but also meditate on the contents like reviewing my study to put them into practice. As I attended Daniel Prayer Meeting, I prayed with the sermon's messages I had borne in my mind and my desire for sanctification through prayer became increasingly fervent. For example, after reading the messages on true love, I came to understand what kind of love God wants us to have and began to examine detailed aspects of my daily life. I realized from my heart ill-feelings and trivial discomforts I had against my friends were evils. I eagerly prayed to throw away those ill-feelings and discomforts and at last I was liberated from those evil things. When I applied the Word of God to my daily life, I experienced spiritual growth and various blessing came upon me. My grades were all A+ in my academics and I received a 100% scholarship During my last semester I had many more major subjects and accordingly I had to study more and do more assignments. I didn't have enough time to study, but did my best not only to study but also to attend daily prayer meetings and Friday all-night service. After the prayer meetings and services, I stopped at the house to wash and eat desert and then went to the college library. Sometimes while studying so attentively, in a short time I felt tired. On the way to school and back home, I listened to Dr. Lee's sermon "The Seed of Life" and the message drove away the tiredness from me. Relying on the Word of God, I could overcome tiredness and continue studying despite getting only 4 hours of sleep. When I was faithful not only in the works of God including worship service and prayer, but faithfully performed my studies as well, God allowed me to receive A+ (a 4.0 grade point average) in all my classes and I received an excellent scholarship. Serving at the Business Summit as one of the 30 staff during the G20 Seoul Summit 2010 I also participated in various social activities with a desire to experience many things, because I hoped to be equipped with various skills and be a competent worker for the church. In November of 2010, in answer to my prayer, I was allowed to serve at the Business Summit as one of the 30 staff during the G20 Seoul Summit 2010. In fact, 3,000 people gathered to be chosen as members of the 30 staff. I was selected by the grace of the Lord and widened my viewpoints at such a worldwide event. I was also invited to attend the luncheon party held as an encouragement event for those whose works were being recognized, and received a commemorative gift given in the name of the Korean president from the Cheong Wa Dae (Office of the President, South Korea). This coming August I am scheduled to fly to the United Sates for one-year study. Actually this chance was given to me because the Lord allowed for everything to be successful in my studies. How thankful I am that the Lord gave me many blessings through having been faithful in both the basics of a Christian life and in my studies. I believe God was pleased when I prayed without ceasing, enjoyed listening to the Word of God and practicing it, and performed my duty of studying. I give all thanks and glory to God. Brother Daehoon Chung (Freshman of Department of Global Eminence, Kyung Hee University) "Wow! Success! Oh, Lord I really thank You!" It was only by the grace of the Lord that I passed with a 100% essay test for admission to the Department of Global Eminence of the Kyung Hee University. My academic records were the third level in the school grading system. In my preparation for college entrance, I inevitably concentrated on preparation for the standardized test. I knew the essay test was important, but I had no confidence in it. My mother earnestly prayed for me. She also prayed for Senior Pastor who was offering special vowed prayer to God. A week before the College Scholastic Ability Test 2010, she dreamed an unusual dream. In her dream Senior Pastor appeared and said to her, "While I was praying for you, a flower bloomed. It's impressive!" A few days later she dreamed the 3 questions among the topics of the essay test were concerning water. She told me about the dream and asked me to prepare with that topic. I closely read Dr. Lee's messages on water delivered at Friday all-night service and prepared for the essay test with the data. When the topics of the essay test were announced at the test place of the Kyung Hee University, I was really amazed to see 3 questions concerning water were announced. I was greatly moved in my heart. I wrote the essay in peace and great success. Afterwards I knew the date of the announcement of those who passed the entrance examination but I thought it had nothing to do with me because there were many other students who had concentrated on the essay test. I chanced to check the result by the urging of my friends, and to my amazement, my name was among those who had passed the test for the Department of Global Eminence of Kyung Hee University. Now whenever I pass the entrance of the university, my heart is pounding with joy and thanks for the love of the Lord. From the next year I will study Korean and western medicines and after graduation I will study more to become a dentist following in my father's career. I give thanks to my Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who prayed for me and offer my thanks and glory to the Lord who helped me have spiritual experiences and improve my faith.

With the Power of God, It is Easy to Spread the Gospel!

Joshua Sotun (Shillong, Meghalaya, India) I used to be Hindu. My mother converted to Christianity after she had been healed of heart disease by prayer of a Christian. Her story of healing influenced all family members to convert to Christianity, but I accepted the Lord four years later. Through 'Manmin News' in Hindi and a phone call with Delhi Manmin Mission Center One day in 1999, there was a worship service at my home. I did not attend the service, but was in the next room. I liked praises that they sang and listened to them carefully. During the service, the preacher read a Bible verse from Isaiah. It was Isaiah 49:15 saying, "Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you." This verse moved my heart. I finally accepted the Lord and repented of my past life filled with idolatry, drunkenness, and dissipation. I came to lay aside my former manner of life. I tried to live by the Word of God, pray every day, and look for the love and blessings of the Lord in my life. In May of 2009, I visited OM Books Shop located in Guwahati, the state of Assam, India. I received much grace reading Manmin News in Hindi that had been placed in the shop. I made a phone call to Delhi Manmin Mission Center with the number written in the newspaper. Brother Raju there answered my questions and began to send me Manmin News regularly. He also sent me the DVD entitled 'Power of God'. Touched by 'Power of God' DVD and Dr. Jaerock Lee's books The Message of the Cross and The Measure of Faith Manmin News translated in Hindi Watching the DVD that showed God's powerful works manifested through Dr. Lee's prayer, I was so amazed that I even felt like I had an electronic shock. I was filled with the Holy Spirit and came to be eager to spread the great power of God to others and to experience it firsthand. In July 2009, I asked Delhi Manmin Mission Center to send me Dr. Lee's books. I read seven books including The Message of the Cross, The Measure of Faith, Heaven I & II, Hell, and Awaken Israel. After reading them, I could not help preaching the gospel. In particular, I liked The Message of the Cross which suggests 'the way of salvation' and 'the providence of the cross' and The Measure of Faith which shows the readers a shortcut to resemble the Lord. These contain amazing unheard of messages. Spreading the holiness gospel and the power of God not only in India but in Nepal and Bhutan I paid a visit to a cable broadcasting station which covers all areas in Shillong, Meghalaya, India on December 22, 2009. I gave them 'Power of God IV' DVD and made best efforts for it to be broadcast through the station even spending my own money. Carrying a DVD player and a TV monitor in my car, I have presented 'Power of God IV' in churches and towns. Many people have been touched by the message of the cross of Jesus Christ. I also have introduced Muan Sweet Water which was changed from salty water of the sea to drinkable water through Dr. Lee's prayer. Whoever used it by faith received healings and converted to Christianity. I have a room to conduct Manmin's ministry in my house. I have Manmin News, Dr. Lee's books, and Muan Sweet Water in the room. If there is someone who wants them, I send them to the person. Since December 23, 2009, I have sent 120 DVDs to churches in Nepal. I preached the gospel in my wife's hometown in Bhutan. I am learning the language of Khasis which is spoken by a tribe living in the mountainous areas in the Northeastern India, Bangladesh, and Assam in order to spread the gospel among them. Its population reaches upwards of around 1,360,000. Materials for evangelization of the areas were translated into their language. I will try my best for spreading the holiness gospel which I learned through MIS (Manmin International Seminary) programs. About 100 families in Assam of India converted to Christianity A 20-year-old woman Sunita Mirda living in a village of Tezpura in Assam of India had been possessed with an evil spirit for a year. She had to be kept in her room and taken care of by her family because she had caused many problems like throwing things. Many pastors had prayed for her, but there was no difference. At that time, her father came to know Manmin's ministry and wanted to receive Dr. Lee's prayer for her. I informed Pastor John Kim (Delhi Manmin Mission Center) of their problem. Pastor Kim asked for Dr. Lee's prayer and received his prayer on their behalf during Friday all-night service. Surprisingly, she came to be set free from evil spirit and became normal. After seeing this fascinating work of God, her family members and the villagers converted from Hinduism to Christianity. At first only 20 families converted, but the news was spread to neighbors and about 100 families converted to Christianity. This is because her father was influential in the village and her relatives lived closely.

Pastor John Kim (India Delhi Manmin Mission Center) Delhi Manmin Mission Center has built a Christian network covering India and its neighboring countries through Dr. Lee's books, Manmin News in Hindi, and GCN broadcasting ministry. Dr. Lee's books are exceedingly popular in India. Pastor Philip, Manager of Bible Society of India, has sold a thousand kinds of Christian books. He said that there has been no other such book as The Message of the Cross written by Dr. Lee. He added that he had highly recommended The Message of the Cross to Hindus or Sikhs when they visited his book store. We have printed Manmin News in Hindi and sent it to distant places by post. About 200 organizations such as Christian book stores nad churches, and approximately 1,000 brothers and sisters have received it by post. Those who came to learn God's powerful works manifested through Dr. Jaerock Lee after reading Manmin News and his books have asked us to hold handkerchief healing meetings and seminars. In addition, programs of GCN (Global Christian Network) are broadcast for 24 hours through the cable broadcasting stations in Northeastern India. By cooking for the church events I want to repay the grace of the Lord who changed my life

Brother Suchan Kim (1-2 Canaan Mission; General Manager, Cooks Mission) I have attended Manmin Central Church since I was young, but I did not lead a proper Christian life and did not attend the Summer Retreats, either. In 2007, I wanted to participate in the 2007 Summer Retreat. Even though I had a job interview in a restaurant on the first day of the Summer Retreat, I decided to go to the Summer Retreat. By the works of the Holy Spirit, I could both take part in the Retreat and get a job in the restaurant. I was in charge of cooking fusion dishes in the restaurant. I could learn the basics of cooking and the restaurant management there, but could not cherish the great love that the Lord had given me deep in my heart. I worked from early in the morning till late at night due to the long working-hours and out of a sense of duty as a manager. This life style led me to go to church less often and pray less than before, and I finally stopped praying. Repenting thoroughly with tears in Friday All-night Service While volunteering to cook for church events, I was persuaded by those who had prayed for me and I attended Friday all-night service. Surprisingly, I received grace and repented with tears and runny nose while singing praises during the second half of the service. I saw Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee praying and shedding tears for us through images on the monitors. I looked back on my past life and realized that my life had been filled with worldly things while Dr. Lee had urged us to live by the Word of God. My past life filled with the foolishness came across my mind. God had shown numerous signs, wonders, and powerful miracles through Dr. Lee, but I just considered all of them as scenes in fantasy movies or just meaningless things. During prayer, those who had encouraged me with love such as my mother and my guidance pastors came to mind. Afterwards, I attended every kind of service including Friday All-night service and stopped drinking easily. I wanted to stop smoking, too. I made a resolution to stop smoking during 2010 New Year Service. Furthermore, I tried to listen to praises and even sing them. I stopped drinking and smoking and served with joy At that time, I worked for a spaghetti and steak restaurant. I also belonged to Cooks Department of Reception Committee in Manmin Central Church and cooked spaghetti for foreign visitors. It took a long time to buy many ingredients because the church restaurant did not have all I needed. I might have been tired, but I did everything with joy and I even felt so thankful. When Dr. Jaerock Lee saw the volunteers with love, I felt so happy. People eat food first with 'both the eyes and the nose' and then by the mouth. It means that the best dish is one which looks beautiful, smells fragrant, and tastes good. Besides, what makes it better is the cook's heart filled with happiness and devotion. Cooking dishes for church events, I came to know what dishes could make people happy. I confess that it is true blessing for me to pay back God's love and grace by volunteering to cook for visitors to our church. I give thanks to all those who have prayed for me. Cooks' Mission cooking the best dish for people, "Manmin Chefs' Meeting" In Manmin Central Church, there are various missions which give brothers and sisters in Christ the opportunities to work for God's kingdom according to their talents. Among them is Cooks Mission which was recently established. Cooks Mission has brothers and sisters who want to share love by cooking and they volunteer to cook for the kingdom of God. It is made up of members of Students' Mission, College Mission, Canaan Mission, Men's Mission, and Women's Mission. We often attend Food Fairs and have gatherings twice a month. We are filled with the longing heart to work for God's kingdom by exchanging the various recipes and practicing with them together. Deacon Jaeha Lee, President of Cooks' Mission, said, "People from all around the world visit our church which has been growing up as a global church. We serve the visitors with the dishes which are pleasant to their tastes. We are trying hard to serve them with the highest quality dishes, good enough to have them wonder who cooked such a nice and elaborate meal." Members of Cooks Mission stay up late to prepare for the big events like the Church Anniversary Celebration Service. I am looking forward to seeing Cooks Mission organize its professional teams, which includes a Korean Dish Team, Western Dish Team, Japanese Dish Team, Bakers' Team, and Dessert Team, with praying and the heart of serving the Lord. I hope the Mission will prepare the best dish all the time and give people from all around the world a great experience with it.

Estonia Is Being Filled with Fiery Works of the Holy Spirit

Jose Morales (A businessman, Tallinn in Estonia) My wife and I have dual nationality of Mexico and Estonia. We have lived in Estonia since 2003. It's my wife's mother land. We were looking for a church filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit and His works, but it was never easy to find such a church. We prayed for giving us God's supernatural help and blessings. We began to long and wait for someone who would help us and pour the fullness of the Holy Spirit into us. Deciding to leave Estonia for the spiritual growth I had attended many churches to find a church filled with the Holy Spirit, but none of the churches satisfied my need. I finally decided to leave for the U.S. because I was eager to meet men of goodness and good Christian families. Even more so, I wanted to bring revival to Estonian churches with the support of numerous Christians in the U.S. Last summer, however, I came to meet Samuel S. Kim and his fellow workers from Manmin Central Church. I felt excited and hugged him because his name was the same as my son's and I was told that he was a born-again Christian. I heard that they were members of the organizing committee preparing for 2010 Estonia Miracle Healing Crusade with Dr. Jaerock Lee which would be held on October 30 and 31, 2010. I believed that this was God's answer to our 7-year prayer, and we were overwhelmed with joy. At that time, they asked me where they could stay while preparing for the crusade. I let them stay in an apartment which had been on the rental housing market. Moved by the holiness gospel that the mission team from Manmin Central Church spread The mission team and I started having prayer meetings in my house every morning. Even though it was not easy to have and receive visitors every day for 3 hours, I felt blessed and pleased when I was with them. I felt like I was in Heaven while I saw them behave in such a holy and graceful manner. They were God's gifts to help my family members become sanctified. We have listened to sermons delivered by many famous pastors through programs on TBN and God's TV, but Dr. Jaerock Lee's messages were unlike any other. The messages were perfect, deep and holy. The holiness gospel was so powerful and very sincere. It also let me understand the providence of God the Creator well. Experiencing the amazing power of God during Estonia Miracle Healing Crusade 2010 We could feel the presence of God when my family met Dr. Jaerock Lee in person a few days before the crusade. My mother-in-law had pain in her heel, but her pain disappeared at the time. Sister Milbi, who prayed with us every day, experienced the works of her poor hearing being restored to normal. She had previously received the gift of vision, so she often saw various things in her visions when praying for someone. One day, during the prayer meeting, she became filled with the Holy Spirit and told us that "There is a tree of the shape of Dr. Jaerock Lee. It is so tall that it reaches the sky and so wide that it covers all the nations, and there are numerous angels and the Lord around it." At last he came to Estonia and led a 2-day Estonian Crusade. Even though he prayed for the sick from the podium, I clearly saw the lame walk from wheelchairs, and those with poor eyesight being recovered to normal. It was awesome to see people healed of various kinds of diseases. Furthermore, he taught us about properly using the right name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have never heard about the difference between using the name 'Jesus' and the name 'Jesus Christ'. It was so impressive and special, because 'Jesus' is a very commonly used name in Latin America. It was reasonable to pray in the name of 'Jesus Christ' because "Jesus" had been the name before He was crucified (Matthew 1:21). I am shedding tears even writing this by the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Through the ministries of books and broadcasting, Estonia becomes filled with the Holy Spirit We are trying hard to resemble the Lord by reading the books authored by Dr. Jaerock Lee such as The Message of the Cross, My Life My Faith, and Heaven. We have been praying with the wise messages day and night. We could feel that the books had been written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We attend Sunday Evening Worship Service of Manmin Central Church at 8 every Sunday morning through live-broadcast. Since the Estonia Crusade, I have had 6 prayer meetings together with around 100 people from various areas and even an island. In the meeting, the works of healing and marvelous things have taken place. Especially, the 6th prayer meeting that was held in the place where Estonia Crusade had been held. A sister saw a sign that golden lights came down to us and her hands even looked like golden paper. Everyone there was so delighted. This prayer meeting was led by a Norwegian pastor named 'Thorbjom.' Estonia has changed. The fire of the Holy Spirit is blazing. Members of the prayer meeting organized the 'Global Christian Community' which is acknowledged as a legal and formal group and works for the world mission and some Christian events. They established an association The Burning Bush as well. They are teaching people about Jesus Christ. We will cooperate with Pastor Mart Vahira who is serving rehabilitation centers in Estonia and through this ministry many people who are slaves of sins and addicted to alcohol, drugs, or sexual relationships will escape from the sins and come back to the Lord. We will keep organizing such meetings, establishing a firm foothold of such groups, and achieve Estonian church revival. We give all thanks and glory to God who sent the mission team of Manmin Central Church and let Estonia be set ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit. My Family Is Full of Joy and Happiness by the Grace of God!

Elder Candidate Jongseo Lim (Parish 11, Representative of The First Printing Company) True happiness began in my family on the first day of July of 1990. On that day my wife, Senior Deaconess Mihwa Jeon, registered at Manmin Central Church. She guided me and our two children to the same church. My Wife Met the Living God and Gave Birth to a Daughter We So Earnestly Desired On that day my wife's heart was touched as she entered the sanctuary and climbed the steps to the second floor balcony. After sitting in the pews she said, "Lord, at last I've come to You" and then many tears welled up in her eyes. Before she went to the church, she threw away the Buddhist hymnal book she had bought when we were on our honeymoon. I believe God saw her throwing it away and gave her grace on that first day of her attending church. She experienced the love of God so greatly that she guided me to the church the following Sunday. That was July 8, 1990. While attending church my wife recovered her health and became strong in body and spirit. She always tried her best to speak positively and sing praises to the Lord. Four years after she gave birth to our son, we wanted to have a daughter, but she could no longer become pregnant. We prayed and believed she would be able to conceive a daughter if we received the prayer. At that time we received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer for the sick by faith whenever he prayed from the pulpit. Four months later she was found to be pregnant and after 9 months we had a lovely daughter. Keeping the Lord's Day Holy and the Prospering of Our Souls Despite those blessings, I was slow in spiritual change. I attended church every two weeks because of my work, and I even did that reluctantly. In the winter of 1990, I felt severe pain in my waist. Even though I took Korean traditional medicine, it was not effective. My wife asked Parish Leader Pastor Hyukhee Cho to visit our home and he prayed for me. I felt something like fire coming upon me and began sweating. All pain was gone and I was completely healed. From that time on, I've been attending church every Sunday. In 1998, I listened to the message titled with 'Significance of Keeping the Lord's Day Holy' and I was determined to attend Sunday every evening service. In addition, I eventually quit smoking, which I had not been able to do for a long time. When I kept the Lord's Day holy I actually abhorred the odor of cigarette smoke and completely quit smoking. I also received blessings in my business. Sales increased and I was able to pay off most of the debt I had assumed when I bought our business. We also moved into a new house near the church, and my faith changed greatly. In the August of 2001, I first attended a summer retreat and fervently volunteered for an event even under the scorching sun. Later I found some problems from the sunburn on my face that caused my face to look really bad. But with the passing of time, my facial skin looked much better than ever before. Through this experience I could possess strong faith and began serving the Men's Mission as a group leader. When I served as a sub-district leader, I picked up a few elderly people and enjoyed the joy of service. In 2004, my wife and I joined in the ministry of Shalom Choir. Comprehensive Blessings Came upon Us in the Midst of Longing Hearts for Sanctification In summer of 2010, my family had a chance to meet with the Senior Pastor, Dr. Jaerock Lee. After that meeting, my desire for sanctification and love for the Lord became more fervent. In my business I received unexpected orders from a few clients who had not contacted me for a long time. My son Hwantaek Lim and daughter Bora Lim received scholarships from their colleges. My daughter participated in the missionary journey to Japan hosted by MMTC (Manmin Missionary Training Center) and later she was chosen as a member of Heavenly Dance Team of the Performing Arts Committee. She accompanied Dr. Jaerock Lee and glorified God with beautiful dancing as a member of the Joint Performance Team when he conducted the 2010 Estonia Miracle Healing Crusade. My wife was appointed as a senior deaconess and I as an elder candidate and manger of Shalom Choir. For all these blessings I give my heartfelt thanks and glory to God. I also appreciate my wife because she has played the part of the spiritual householder on my behalf. She patiently endured me even when I smoked and drank, and she served me with love without being provoked when I returned home exhausted and complained about even the smallest of things. I often saw her patiently and quietly praying for me. That's why there was no reason for us to fight with each other and how she formed a happy and peaceful family. We also have two children who are obedient to their parents and united in love because of her. With a Longing Heart to Become Children Glorifying God When my wife was pregnant with my daughter, my wife and I prayed for her to grow up to be used in accomplishing the world mission with dance and performance. After she was born, she enjoyed dancing and singing. In middle school she didn't attend a middle school of performing arts, but she always participated in many activities of singing and dancing in the church so that she could enter the National High School of Traditional Arts. She majored in dance at the Hansung University and she has served the church in the White Stone Choir and Sweet Rain Chorus. She is now serving as a member of the Artistic Dance Mission Team and Heavenly Dance Team. My son Hwantaek, was once quite stubborn. But, after he began attending church early in his childhood he became mild-tempered and more obedient. He didn't love the world and didn't seek meaningless things, either. During his military service, he never drank despite his seniors' persistent urging. In 2005, he entered Chungwooon University. and, after Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee said that GCN ministry would need more broadcasting workers in the future, he majored in broadcasting media. He has completed the 6-month broadcasting course at KBS (Koran Broadcasting System), and is volunteering at the church broadcasting center as a filming man. I am so happy to see him practicing that job even at home. I give thanks to the Lord for allowing this joy and hope, and precious duties and also to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who has led us to grow up in faith with the gospel of holiness and the manifestations of God's power.

I Used to Be a Gay, But Now My Life Is Totally Different by the Grace of the Lord!

Brother Joseph Rim Bangphil (27, Penang Deaf Manmin Church of Malaysia) I was a gay, and couldn't lead a normal life because I was deaf. I tried to have interest in Buddhism and Islam, but in vain. At 22, I began to attend a church for the deaf in Penang City but I couldn't find true meaning of life because I didn't believe in the Lord properly. I Recovered My Eyesight after Repenting of My Last Sins When my parents got divorced, I was shocked and everything looked dark to me because I was deaf. Finally I tried to kill myself. I injected water paint into the wrist artery; my wrist became so swollen and I lost consciousness. I was immediately sent to the hospital by people and revived. In the January of 2009, Pastor Junghoon Ji from Manmin Central Church paid a visit to Malaysia. Pastor Ji, who was serving the church as vice-guidance pastor of the Deaf Mission of Manmin Central Church, delivered the messages about Heaven and Hell, and told us the manifestations of God's powerful works that had taken place at Manmin Central Church so that we could possess true faith. Through his testimonies, my faith grew up and I came to try my best to live by the Word of God. Afterwards I watched Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermon on the Internet broadcasting service, and came to know that a homosexual life-style is a grave sin in the sight of God. I thoroughly repented of my past life and then experienced a miracle. While watching his sermon, one day something strange happened to my eyes. The screen didn't seem clear. The following day I put on the glasses as usual, but I felt dizzy and objects looked rather blurred. I took off my glasses and then everything looked clear. I realized my eyesight had been recovered. What an amazing and thankful thing to me! It was a sign that the Lord loves me. I Became Assured of the Existence of Heaven and Hell, and Served the Lord Diligently After one-month stay in Malaysia, Pastor Ji returned to Korea. After that I felt a desire arising within me that was causing me to return to the world. I kept my heart and began 3 days of fasting. I was determined to completely cut off my homosexual life and instead dedicate all the remaining days of my life to God. Immediately the hope for Heaven began arising in my heart, and I experienced the love of the Lord by receiving answers to my prayers. Through Dr. Lee's messages, I came to understand each individual will inherit a different dwelling place in Heaven according to his level of faith and achievement of the heart of the Lord. And I realized the best and most beautiful kingdom of Heaven is New Jerusalem. I set a firm goal to enter the city of New Jerusalem. A few months later, Pastor Ji visited Penang Deaf Manmin Church and I began to serve the church as a cleaning man and to help many others improve their faith. I tried my best to testify to my change of life and experiences. I sought to evangelize as many people as possible. After I was taught the messages on Hell, my heart became fervent for evangelism. I grasped that each individual will be tormented with a different level of punishment in Hell according to the severity of his sins. I was very shocked at the fact the torment of Hell is really horrible and dreadful. Now we are presenting the messages and appearances of Hell and Heaven with various visible media to help the deaf believers understand the will of God. Through watching those presentations, the number of those deaf people who accepted the Lord and chose to go the way to Heaven is increasing. While Spreading the Holiness Gospel in Thailand, a Branch Church Was Planted Therein In March of 2010, I accompanied Pastor Ji when he travelled to Thailand to spread the gospel. When I presented the video on Hell and Heaven at the Thailand Deaf Association meeting and explained to them the holiness gospel, there was a gangster among many deaf people who was touched. I visited his home and did various chores for him cleaning the house. And I told him about the love of the Lord. He made a resolution and quit taking drugs. And he threw away knives and deadly weapons. Later a branch church was founded through his efforts in Hat Yai, Songkhla, Thailand. Since the May of 2010, I have spread the gospel to youngsters who lived in darkness and in the midst of drugs and alcohol. They accepted the gospel and began attending Hat Yai Manmin Church. The number of the believers in the church is now70. Now I am serving Hat Yai Manmin Church and helping the believers improve their faith. Some of them evangelized their relatives who lived in other areas and some others moved into other areas so that a few more branch churches were founded in Phuket, Surat Thani, and Trang.
