I Was So Happy at the 2010 Students' Summer Retreat along with Korean Friends

Sarah Johnson (West Virginia of USA) In June of 2010, I heard about the news of 2010 Summer Retreat of Manmin Central Church. I had much interest in the Students' Praise Contest that would be held at the summer retreat. I looked forward to seeing Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee, attending the worship services of Manmin Central Church, and having fellowship with Korean friends and participating in the Praise Contest at the summer retreat. I also wanted to improve my faith. I determined to participate in the praise contest along with my younger sister Stephanie. She and I practiced the song "Our God" and prayed. On July 19, I arrived in the land of Korea along with my mother Soojin Johnson and my elder and younger sisters after the 14-hour flight. I was so glad to attend the worship services of Manmin Central Church and to have fellowship with many friends who were at Students' Sunday School. The friends were kind and helped me practice the song many times even though we couldn't make communications with each other. When I received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer for participation in the praise contest, I was so touched and welled up tears. On July 26, the 4-day Students' Summer Retreat was kicked off. Pastor Heesun Lee's message on the first day, Pastor Soojin Lee's on the second day, and Pastor Timothy Kim's message on the third day were so touching that I cried out with tears and repented of my sins in the first row. On the second day I fully participated in the athletic meeting and very thankfully I was chosen as the female MVP. In that afternoon and evening I and my sister Stephanie practiced our song a lot until late. My sister Stephanie played the guitar and I sang the song. Stephanie didn't seem to play the guitar well at first, but improved her skill by the help of many friends and finally she did a good job at the contest. Many teams took part in the praise contest and we were awarded the 'Favorite Prize' among many rivals. We thought it was made possible by the prayer of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. Now we give thanks to him and many friends. I was greatly challenged at this 2010 Students' Summer Retreat. I am very thankful for my spiritual growth through the holiness gospel and I am so glad to have many friends in faith.

Mrs. Janet Akinola (Wife of Minister of Nigeria Embassy in South Korea) Mrs. Janet Akinola and her husband Mr. Joshua Akinola, Minister in the Nigeria Embassy in South Korea I served the Deep Life Church as an assistant pastor. On February 10, 2007, my husband Mr. Joshua Akinola was appointed as a minister in the Nigeria Embassy in South Korea and I followed him. In October, that same year, Elder Johnny Kim guided my husband and me to Manmin Central Church. After attending the church, we were so touched. The most thankful thing is to listen to the word of life that cannot be found anywhere else. When we first met Dr. Jaerock Lee, Senior Pastor of Manmin Central Church, we felt he is so humble and lives by the word of God. The messages he delivers at the Sunday morning service, Sunday evening service, and Friday all-night service were so amazing to us. Whenever we listened to his messages, we felt the power of spirit and life and gained new awakenings. His messages gave us important turning-points in our lives. In those days I suffered from insomnia. One day a miracle happened to me. I received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer, and felt very sleepy on the way back home. As soon as I returned home, I fell down to the couch and went to sleep. From that day on I was completely healed of insomnia. Hallelujah! In August of 2009, my son Samuel was attending the medical school of a university in Ukraine. While playing soccer with his friends, he had his tendon of ankle ruptured. He received a surgical treatment, but had to limp because strength did not come upon his ankle. Three months later he attended the 6th International Christian Medical Conference that was held in Kiev under the auspices of WCDN (World Christian Doctors Network) and after receiving the prayer with the handkerchief, he got well. Next month, he firsthand visited Manmin Central Church and received Dr. Lee's prayer. After that he was completely healed. Experiencing God's power through Dr. Jaerock Lee was a great privilege and grace to us. Many pastors and workers of the church always welcomed us. Above all, Senior Deaconess Geumsun Vin actively supported me to write and publish a book titled with "Marriage and Family." When Dr. Jaerock Lee laid his hand on me and the book, and prayed for blessing, I welled up many tears of happiness and emotion. I have different skin color, but through his prayer I felt I was being accepted as the same child of God as other church members. And I cannot forget dedications and love that many pastors and church workers including Pastor Nisa Han showed toward us. I will never forget the grace and dedicate my life for many wandering souls. I give all thanks and glory to God and the Lord who blessed us to meet Dr. Jaerock Lee who has been used for the souls all over the world by God, and to listen to his messages and to receive healing of our diseases.

Deacon Heesuk Byoun (Men's Mission, 30th Parish) I am doing interior designs related to the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation. I have to work day and night because many branches of the NACF are located all over the country. But I was so happy for those many works and did not find any difficulty in it. On April 28, 2009, early morning I was driving a car toward Yeong-am County of Jeonnam Province along with a carpenter who was scheduled to help me there. Around 9 AM, we arrived at the entrance of the county and I was trying to turn to the left at the three-way intersection. At that moment my car collided head-on with a 22-ton dump truck. I heard a bumped sound but did not feel any shock. The carpenter later told me he had felt two big shocks. I instantly felt God had protected me in the space of the shepherd, and thanked Him. After that we got out of the crushed car, and found what had happened. The scene was unbelievably terrible. My car was seriously destroyed like crumpled paper and thrown aside at a corner of the road. The dump truck was so big and strong but was a little crushed because it was a really big accident. The dump truck driver came to me and said, "How could this happen? How could you be well in this big accident?" I answered, "My God protected me. I thank Him." The driver looked a little comforted after seeing us safe. A few people who gathered at the accident site really thought that the car driver had been crushed to death. Some while later the police and a staff of the automobile insurance company arrived. They looked at us for some time as through they couldn't believe the truth. It was because the car was completely destroyed but the driver and a passenger were not hurt at all. The police, however, forced us to go to hospital, saying, "Now you look normal, but you have to receive the medical checkup because you don't know what has really happened to you." We were X-rayed but the result was that we were normal. Two days later the carpenter felt a little pain and received the reevaluation, and it showed his ribs had become crooked. But he said he had also been protected that much because of me, a believer in God. Through this accident, I came to realize the God of love protects us even when we are trying our best to keep and obey His commands—especially, keeping the Sabbath day and giving tithes to Him. Also, I felt Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee is always praying for the church members to be protected from various accidents. And I thoroughly repented that I had heard the Word of God but at working places I sometimes revealed hot-temper and reluctantly drank a bit of liquor, and determined to lead a proper Christian life. Hey! Are You OK? Were You Hurt Anywhere?

Deacon Hyunkeun Kim (Men's Mission, 19th Parish) At 8:45 on May 14, 2010, I was driving a motorcycle to go to work and passing the crossroads nearby the Seongnam City Hall. All of a sudden my motorcycle was hit over by a taxi. The 3-line road was so complicated. The third line was packed with construction materials that would be used for the new shopping complex, and a big city bus was stopping at the center between the second and third line to let passengers get off, and a taxi was waiting right after the bus. I entered the first line and was trying to make a U-turn and at that very moment, the taxi suddenly changed its course and ran into my motorcycle in the process of entering the same line that I was waiting at. My motorcycle and I were thrown away 3 meters and fell to the ground. But I felt as if I were comfortably seated on a mattress. My motorcycle was bounced again, crossed the centerline of the road, skidded 5 more meters on the opposite road, and came to a sudden stop in front of a bus that was coming in the opposite direction. It was really fortunate that there was no vehicle on the opposite road. Otherwise a big traffic accident might have happened. I was too embarrassed and shocked to realize which part of the body I was hurt on and how painful I was. The taxi driver hurriedly ran to me, and asked, "Hey! Are you OK? Were you hurt?" I said to him, "Why did you not wait 3 more seconds for your U-turn? Please call the police and an ambulance." My working garments were torn apart and my whole body ached. My both knees were shedding blood and the floor was soaked with blood. The ambulance arrived and I was sent to the Bundang Cha Hospital. At 11 AM, my doctor said I had been so severely hurt that I should go through a thorough examination, and admitted me into a ward. But my heart was in peace. I comforted the taxi driver who was standing beside and looked so irritated, saying to him, "Don't worry! The things will go well. There will be nothing that will hinder you from making a living." He was at a loss and said, "Oh! Thank you! Thank you for your good words! I wish you will get well soon. I am very sorry for this!" Until I received the closest examination, I looked back at my past life thinking why this accident had occurred to me. I was reminded that I had not worshiped God in spirit and in truth during the worship service, ceased praying, failed to perform my duty as a husband and a father at home, and even enjoyed playing computer games. I began to repent of them and prayed for God to forgive me of those sins. After repenting in prayer, I received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer for the sick recorded on the telephonic Automated Responsive Service. Meanwhile the examination started. They X-rayed me 28 times and CT-scanned my neck, abdomen, knees, and ankles. The result came out at 3:30 PM. They looked surprised and said to me, "Mr. Kim, it's amazing! None of your bones was hurt. You can go back home after receiving medicines." I received a small treatment on bruised and scratched parts, and discharged from the hospital. My motorcycle was not damaged but only the right mirror. This incident caused me to repent of and turn away from changing heart and lingering attachment to the world, and increased my love for God and hope for Heaven. How valuable this was to me! I Was Miraculously Rescued from Acute Peritonitis!

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me." Psalm 50:15 Deaconess Kyunghwa Lee (Chinese Parish) Becoming assured that God is with Manmin Central Church In the early 2000, I was guided to a branch church of Manmin Central Church in China and later found a 24-session-series sermon "The Message of the Cross" preached by Dr. Jaerock Lee. I wanted to have the assurance of Manmin Central Church and rented the audio tapes after 3-day fasting prayer. While listening to the series sermon, I was so touched and experienced the healing of a few kinds of diseases including heart disease, stomach disease, arthritis, anemia, and hepatitis. Through these experiences, I became assured that the church is in the presence of God and registered at that branch church. I came to lead a fervent believing life witnessing the power of God and experiencing spiritual things. Meanwhile I determined to go to Manmin Central Church and learn the holiness gospel there, and then to spread the gospel to many souls in China. In February of 2009, I came to Korea with that desire. But I had to take the responsibility of taking care of my two daughters and my sick younger sister whom I had left behind in China. Though I was so happy attending Manmin Central Church that provides the believers with good factors for spiritual growth, I was distressed in my heart because I couldn't afford to support my daughters and sister enough. Seized with acute appendicitis and sent to the hospital On Friday, May 28, 2010, I began to feel pain on the abdomen in the evening. Next day the pain worsened and after going to work, I felt as if the intestines were being twisted. Cold sweat ran down through my whole body and I lost strength. And the symptom of nausea occurred to me. I went to the restroom and threw up a little, but suddenly I felt a twisting pain in my abdomen and fell down to the floor. I struggled with that severe pain for a few hours and returned home around 6 in the evening. I couldn't sleep because of severe pain. On Sunday, May 30, I attended the Sunday morning service, and came back home and took a rest. But I suffered from severe pain and chill and finally fell into coma. After that, I was sent to the hospital and diagnosed with acute appendicitis, and the doctor requested I receive surgical treatments immediately and said that otherwise it would turn into peritonitis and I might lose my life. In that emergent situation, I had no desire to receive a surgery at all. While living in China, I had once experienced God's power listening to the message of sanctification, and since I attended Manmin Central Church, I witnessed many people receiving the healing of their diseases through the prayer of a powerful servant of God. I believed I would surely be healed through the prayer of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. That's why I left the hospital that day and received the prayer for the sick from my great parish leader, Pastor Doochun Shin, and then I felt I was getting well. No other choice but to receive a surgery because of acute peritonitis On June 2, I came to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee and received his prayer. After that, my body became lighter, my spine was straightened, and I had a little pain. I thought I had already been healed and rejoiced. That night I suffered from severe pain on the appendix and high fever, and felt like my intestines were twisted. For the following 3 days, exceedingly severe pain followed, and on June 5, I could hardly breathe thrice from 5 AM until morning. After that the pain lessened and I went to the restroom. While relieving myself, I discharged blood and pus along with a little white water. I thought that appendix had burst out. Next day I came to Senior Pastor and explained my condition to him in detail. He prayed for me, and I returned home. But my neighbors felt something serious was happening to me, and forcefully took me to the hospital. The result of medical checkup was very serious. The doctor said to me, "Are you crazy? Appendix burst out and intestines were mixed with pus. Unless you are admitted and receive the surgery right away, your intestines will be decayed and you die." I wanted to discharge myself from the hospital, but I couldn't on my own. The doctors examined me in many tests and decided to perform the surgery at 7:00 PM that day. I never wanted to rely on a worldly method for the healing at all, and eagerly prayed to heal me by God's way. Thoroughly relying on God and receiving the prayer with the handkerchief That evening, the operation that had been supposed to be performed at 7:00 PM was delayed because the doctors changed their decision. The final test showed pus filled the abdomen, so they concluded that they would make a hole into the side, link with a hose and discharge the pus through the hose, and then do the endoscopy to decide whether or not to perform the operation. My doctor added that cholelithiasis was so urgent that they couldn't know which part to perform a surgery on. After hearing his explanation, I became peaceful and joyous though my body ached so much. Around 10 PM, I was thinking about how to overcome that situation, and I hit upon the verse Psalm 50:15 saying, "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me." I held fast to that word of God and prayed to Him, saying, "Lord! Rescue me out of this pain. Heal me of this disease through the shepherd You love, and let me glorify God!" A little while later Pastor Eunhee Bae entered the ward to see me. I said to her, "Pastor Bae, I'll rely on the Lord until the end. I'll be healed by faith." She answered, "What will be impossible to you if you show faith? Let's worship God and pray to Him." She shared the message on 'the Seed of Life' with me, and I was so impressed by it. I was reminded of my past wrongdoings and not having been at peace with others, and earnestly repented of them with tears and runny nose. Pastor Bae laid on me the handkerchief on which Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed, and prayed for me (Acts 19:11-12). My heart felt as if I were in Heaven and joy overflowed in me. From that midnight until 4:00 AM, I was filled with peace and joy. Completely Healed after God ridded me of all filthy things that filled my abdomen On Monday, June 7, I received the closest examination in the morning. The result surprised the doctors, and they shouted, "Amazing! Unbelievable! Everything is ok! No more gallstone!" Blood pressure was recovered and high fever disappeared. For the last 12 days I could not eat anything, but began to eat porridge in the afternoon. After that something marvelous began to happen to me. Whenever I went to the restroom two or three times a day, God cleansed my abdomen and ridded it of the filthy things that filled the abdomen after appendix burst out. Dark reddish urine was discharged like poison was leaking out, and the pus mixed with blood and other filthy things came out like diarrhea. My body was really light like flying in the air. On June 9, I was completely recovered and returned home as if nothing had happened. This incident helped me look back at my heart and life, and caused me to renew my fervor to become a missionary. I could feel God's delicate love and Dr. Jaerock Lee's sincere prayer, and made up my mind to pay back the grace. I give all thanks and glory to God for His healing me with His power.

I Met God and Was Guided to the Path to Blessing through the Holiness Gospel!

Pastor Rozel Mahatayeva (The Way of Spirit Church, Almaty, Kazakhstan) My church is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and has two branch churches in Baikonur and Karagandy. I had experienced many difficulties in my ministry, so I always prayed to meet with a spiritual mentor. In 2008, my friend, an Israeli pastor Daniel Rozen visited Kazakhstan and gave me a DVD 'The Power of God' that covers the powerful ministry of Dr. Jaerock Lee. When I watched manifestations of God's amazing power through Dr. Jaerock Lee including biblical signs and miracles, I was almost shocked and startled and my heart was greatly moved. I copied that DVD and shared them with many friends and believers. I realized Dr. Jaerock Lee is the very spiritual mentor I had waited for. His powerful ministry was so wonderful, and indescribable emotion filled my heart. Pastor Daniel Rozen told me that tens of Israeli pastors had invited Dr. Jaerock Lee to hold a crusade in Israel. I was so happy to hear that and waited for that day with great expectations and joy. Experiencing God's Amazing Power at the 2009 International Multi-cultural Festival in Jerusalem In the September of 2009, Dr. Lee's crusade was held in Israel with the name of 'the 2009 International Multi-cultural Festival.' I took 9 church members to the festival. We fell into joy and great emotion when we saw the heaven-like beautiful performances and powerful songs at the beginning of the festival. We were also touched by the messages Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered entitled with "God the Creator" and "Why Is Jesus Our Only Savior?" Numerous people were healed of their diseases through Dr. Lee's prayer and testified to their healing, and we were shocked at those powerful works of God once again. Not only 9 members in attendance but also many church members attending the festival via TBN-Russia TV received healing and glorified God. A 20-year-old brother Marat was healed of backache and spinal pain he had suffered from his childhood. A 63-year-old man Kunsulu received the prayer on the picture of his 3-year-old grandson who couldn't walk because of Down syndrome. After receiving the prayer the child began to walk properly. A 56-year-old woman Bikamal was healed of her chronic pain on the pelvis, and danced with joy and glorified God. A 47-year-old pastor Bibigul ministering to a branch church in Karagandy had suffered from a tumor in her chest. Her doctor stopped her from going to Israel and advised her to receive surgical treatments. But she was healed of the tumor through Dr. Lee's prayer at the International Multi-cultural Festival in Jerusalem of Israel, and after coming back home, she went to the hospital again for the reevaluation, and the result showed there was no tumor in her chest. Her elder sister Clara, 61 years old, was healed of herpes labialis. A 40-year-old brother Nurbanu was healed of bluish tumors that had radiated to his legs while watching the Israel festival, and called Sister Shirel who was firsthand attending the festival and testified to his healing. Thus, his testimony was broadcast live to the whole world through a mobile phone. A 22-year-old sister Marzhan living in Zhaipak was healed of her nephritis (inflammation on the kidney) she had suffered from her childhood while attending the festival on TV, and her husband Brother Aidos was healed of his long backache. Their 4-year-old daughter Aigerim had suffered dermatitis on the head. Discharges oozed out and many hairs fell out. But she was healed through the prayer without any medical treatment, and her hair has flourished. Many more healing testimonies flooded and we glorified God greatly. 2009 Israel United Crusade with Dr. Jaerock Lee Changes in Lives and Overflowing Answers through Books, Broadcasts and the Internet I seldom enjoy reading books, but I fully enjoyed reading Dr. Jaerock Lee's books. When I read his books, I made my bread of the Word of God in the books. I was strongly urged to spread this good news to many others. We had just a few copies of the books, so I made many more copies and spread them to many people. Hearing our situation, Pastor Daniel Rozen asked Manmin Central Church to send Dr. Lee's books to us. After receiving those books, we repeatedly read them and also tried our best to practice them in our lives. Afterwards many church members experienced changes in spirit and overflowed with healing, answer and blessing. In addition, we downloaded Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermons' audio files from the website of Manmin Central Church and purchased MP3 players, and then listened to his many sermons. Afterwards most of the church members bought MP3 players to listen to his messages and even shared the messages with many other brothers and sisters who are attending another church but long to hear Dr. Lee's messages. Through the message and prayer of Dr. Jaerock Lee in the files, Elder Askar, officer in high class at the astronomy observatory in Almaty was healed of severe cold, and Brother Galymzhan living in Tajikistan was suffering from acute pancreatitis but the pain disappeared immediately he received the prayer. TBN-Russia broadcast Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermon programming at 3:30 AM every day. Before the beginning of the sermon program we wake up one another through the phone to listen to the holiness gospel because through the holiness gospel we met the faithful God who fulfills His Word. We give all thanks and glory to God who has blessed us to meet with Dr. Jaerock Lee who really loves God and renders his whole dedications to God, and serve him as our spiritual mentor. Deacon Wongyu Song (3-26th Parish, Representative of the Rainbow-Rising Farm) Deacon Song's corner was visited by Minister Taepyong Chang, Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries I am President of Korean Chives Research Center, located in Yangju City, Kyeong-gi Province. From 10 years ago I have currently researched for Korean chives and dreamed of environment-friendly agricultural products business because it was considered to bring high profits and good health to its customers. In October of 2006, the things seemed to go well when I received the confirmation certificate from the government for environment-friendly agricultural products. But it was temporal joy. I had sequentially failed in my a few businesses—green peppers' processing industry, chives' juice processing industry, and cyber agricultural tools and chemicals open market, and then fell into predicament. Finally I was classified as a defaulter by two banks. Repenting of My Faults in the Failures and Walking the Right Path In December of 2008, I ran out of my business funds and had severer difficulty in making a living, and so my family including my parents and my friends turned their back from me. Ashamed of seeing my family and afraid of their cold eyes, I left home and lived in a metal container beside the brook near my house. In a day a representative of a company was degraded into a jobless and homeless man. I said to myself, "I've been lowered to the bottom. Now everything that will happen to me is improvement" and began to meditate on the cause of the former failures. In praying I found many wrongdoings I have committed in my businesses—getting involved in an improper way with a desire to gain a big amount of money, enlarging the scope of my business exceedingly, disobeying the Word of God, and so on. While attending church, I had committed many wrongdoings that way. I thoroughly repented of them and tried my best to correct the manner of my Christian life. I had the assurance that if I walk the right way God would help me and lead me to make a success in my business again, so that I diligently asked for the help of God in prayer attending various worship services and Daniel Prayer Meeting. In May of 2009, my chives fields were introduced at the program "Morning Wide" of SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) and became known to the whole country. In the early summer of that year, the Pureun Customers' Cooperative Corporation that used to be my former long-term client called me and ordered nutrient chives. At that time I was expecting to succeed in business and was offered to do it again with their promise to support for me. The Number of Order Increased after Receiving the Prayer from Dr. Jaerock Lee In August of 2009, I came to Dr. Jaerock Lee and repented that I had not followed the right way, and received his prayer for blessing. Afterwards blessing has continued. From the year of 2010 I made a contract with the Pureun Customers' Cooperative Corporation for the provision of green agricultural products, and the Yangju City supported me by sending two interns and my a few acquaintances helped me in many ways. On April 17, 2010, the first fruit of my business came forth and I gained very high profits. The nutrient chives I have raised are being provided to Shinsegae Department Store, and making contracts with Pulmuone Co. Ltd., Nong Hyup (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation), Lotte Department Store, Hansalim Co. is on the going. In last June, the Yangju City held a special event for the best agricultural products sales. I attended the event and Minister Taepyong Chang, Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries dropped at my corner and tasted a piece of chives-processing food and praised it sincerely. I'm Nicknamed 'a Best Painter' by the Grace of the Lord

Deaconess Hyunmi Chung (Jeonju Manmin Church, Women's Department of Korea Artists' Association) In November of 2007, Jeonju Manmin Church completed constructing a new sanctuary and was preparing to enter there. Since I was a painter, I was asked to paint a picture of the heavenly key on the ground of the fountain in the front courtyard of the sanctuary. I designed its drawings onto it with joy for a couple of hours and at 6:00 PM returned home for dinner. Two hours later a shower of rain poured down, and I was reminded of the drawing I had made. I thought the drawing drawn with chalk had been already washed away. Then, I should have made such a drawing for a few hours again and then painted over it. But in reality we had little time in preparation for the entrance worship service. I hurriedly ran to the church to examine the drawing. When I entered the church, I found rainwater was forming small pools here and there. But to my surprise, the drawing had not been blotted out at all and remained as it had been drawn. I touched the ground of the fountain and I was more surprised because there was no water on the ground at all but I felt dust from the ground. It reminded me of that sign that Gideon had experienced. In Judges 6, when Gideon asked God to let there be dew on a fleece of wool on the threshing floor but all the ground be dry, it was done, while when he asked God to let the fleece be dry, and let there be dew on all the ground it was done the same way. And many members of Jeonju Manmin Church experienced the same biblical miracle and gave glory to God. After experiencing this miracle, I received answer to my prayer for an atelier—the atelier that is near to my home and has big window through which I can look around beautiful outdoor scenery. I gave this testimony to Dr. Jaerock Lee and he prayed for my painting work. Every time I draw and paint pictures, I lay my hand on the canvas and receive Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer recorded on the phone. And I put watercolor into Muan Sweet Water and paint the picture with that watercolor mixed with Muan Sweet Water. Whenever I drew and painted the pictures, the Lord inspired my heart and emotion with the Holy Spirit and I was awarded the prizes at the paintings' contests—including Asia Art Exhibition and Chunhyang Art Exhibition. My fellow painters and artists nicknamed me as a 'best painter." Moreover, since I painted water-colored pictures with detailed drawings, I felt tired in my eyes and objects seemed blurred. So when I read books, I wore high degree of glasses. On June 2, I experienced something amazing. Harboring a heart desire for recovery of eyesight, I looked into the eyes of Dr. Jaerock Lee, and I felt something cool entering my eyes and my eyes became clear. After that all symptoms of my eyes disappeared and I could see small alphabets. I give all thanks and glory to God.

Brother Keumhyn Kim (Kwangju Manmin Church) In 2000, I was engaged in agricultural business treating agricultural chemicals and fertilizers with my retirement pension, some amount of loan from a bank, and investments from some acquaintances. One day a fire broke out at my factory and I had to close the door. A couple of years later I reopened the factory but it ended up complete failure with a big amount of debt—150 million Won ($130,000 USD). Stricken with Meniere's Syndrome in the midst of Failure, Frustration and Despair Humans are sometimes merciless. After I failed in business, my close friends, relatives and neighbors abandoned me and even my family was not a shelter to me anymore. And I was shocked at the failure in business and this caused tinnitus to happen to me and I suffered from cicada's chirring sound in my ears. Finally I was stricken with Merniere's syndrome which is a disorder of the inner ear that can affect hearing and balance to a varying degree and is characterized by episodes of vertigo and tinnitus and progressive hearing loss, usually in one ear. Frequent vertigo and nausea followed me and I was often sent to emergency care unit. In 2006, I was losing a desire to live in the midst of despair. I thought I could not live in that condition of failure and unsuccessful life and went to a fortuneteller. The fortuneteller told me about my last failed life exactly. From that time I dreamed of a bright future relying on fortunetellers and sorceresses and tried to comfort myself by visiting a Buddhism temple. In 2007 I entered an insurance company and as an insurance planner, I first gained a bigger amount of income than expected. But the income was not enough to pay a great amount of debts caused by credit cards and private loans. Meanwhile I was cheated by a client and swindled out of tens of thousands of dollars, and fell into deep despair. One more problem was that no one seemed trustworthy at all because I had been cheated by the people around me. In 2009, Deaconess Chunrye Kim, an insurance client began telling me the gospel of the Lord. She said, "It is difficult for you to overcome this situation with human strength. When you attend church you can receive real blessing. Let's go to church." I answered, "OK. It's not difficult to me." She gave me a map to her church, and told me to visit there on the coming Sunday. In the mid May I visited Kwangju Manmin Church. It was around 2:30 PM before Sunday evening service started. Deaconess Chunrye Kim welcomed me and guided me into the sanctuary. When the worship service began, I felt a little awkward and couldn't understand the message, but my heart calmed down and was in peace. Healed of My Disease by the Work of the Holy Spirit After the service ended, I was guided into an office and Pastor Hyungryul Park received me with smile and shook hands with me, saying, "Brother Kim, welcome!" I shared some talks with the pastor and he played a DVD titled with "The Power of God" for me. It showed many works of God are taking place and countless people are healed of their long and chronic diseases. I was so touched at the healing cases and welled up tears. And I made up my mind to attend the church continually. I registered at the church and kept the Lord's Day holy and gave my full tithe to God. As a result, God began working on me and healing me of my diseases. In the end of May I attended a divine healing meeting Pastor Park led with the handkerchief Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed on. I received his prayer, and felt something like a hand entered my chest and something warm was running through my body. And I welled up many tears with runny nose without restraint. Afterwards all the symptoms of Mernirere's syndrome completely disappeared. In addition, until that time I had suffered from ankylosing spondylitis. One night Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee appeared in my dream and touched my crooked back. After that my spine was straightened. I was serious smoker. When someone says to me, "If you keep smoking like this, you will die tomorrow," I answered, "Today I enjoy smoking, and tomorrow I'll die." I liked smoking that much. I attended church, but kept on smoking. In August of 2009, I attended the nation-wide men's and women's missions' summer retreat, and received the gift of speaking in tongues at the Holy Spirit's Fullness Prayer Meeting. After that smoking smelled severely foul and I could quit smoking completely. Cancer Cells Disappeared by Receiving Prayer with faith The medical checkup showed the possibility of stomach cancer. After coming back home from the summer retreat, I went to the Chonnam University Hwasun Hospital and I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, which is also called lymphatic cancer because cancer cells radiate to stomach, lungs, and the neck. Some church leaders visited me and explained to me about what the faith is and how to receive healing, but I didn't completely rely on God. My relatives recommended to me I receive medical treatments at the hospital and I thought of a big amount of cancer insurance because I expected I would be able to pay for hospital treatment payment with that big insurance money. The doctor said I should receive anti-cancer treatments 8 times. After the second treatment, I felt so sorry before God. I had once experienced His healing power and tasted the strength of God's grace at the last summer retreat, but I was not acting with the deeds of faith. However, I had the faith as small as a mustard seed and repented before God, and then wished to receive the prayer from Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. I earnestly relied on God praying, "God! Help me possess true faith!" On August 29, I heard members of Kwangju Manmin Church were scheduled to meet Senior Pastor. I prepared for the meeting with him by earnest prayer. At last I received his prayer. He prayed for me, saying, "Father God! Please work on this son! In the name of Jesus Christ, I command, cancer cells go away from him! Be clean!" Two days later I went to the hospital again, and to my amazement all cancer cells had already disappeared. My doctor was also surprised to see the result saying, "Oh! Something amazing happened to you! No more cancer cell!" I answered, "Yes, God healed me! I was healed by prayer." Since then, I received the medical checkup every three months and the results showed I am normal and healthy. I am still defected but how thankful it is that God gave me such a great grace and love! I give thanks to God for healing me and send my heartfelt thanks to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who prayed for me in the name of Jesus Christ. 1. Facial Paralysis from a Traffic Accident Disappeared

Sister Kazumi Akushichi (Yamagata Manmin Church, Japan) On August 12, 2007, I had a huge accident in which my car had a head-on collision with another car that crossed the center line. My face was severely damaged and my entire body was injured. I was taken to an emergency care unit and received a major surgery. After wandering near death for 3 days, I regained my consciousness. The police officer who was in charge of the accident said with a surprise, "I have seen no one survive in that kind of accident throughout 43 years of my life as a policeman telling me that the accident was due to the negligence of the other driver. I had facial paralysis and my body ached like I was beaten all over. I had to undergo physical therapy, but the recovery was unclear, and it took many days and I suffered considerable pain. In January, 2009, one of acquaintances visited me in the hospital. She introduced Yamagata Manmin Church to me and suggested that I go there with her. At that time, I was watching worship services broadcast on CBS (Christian Broadcasting System) in the internet, so I wanted to worship in a sanctuary. On the same week, I visited Yamagata Manmin Church and attended the service. Yamagata Manmin Church is one of the branch churches of Manmin Central Church in Japan. They were attending worship services through satellite TV. I was deeply touched by Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's message, so I listened to his sermons on the Manmin Central Church's website, and bought and read his books. I lived each day with thankfulness and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. In September of the year, as I watched the Israel United Crusade led by Senior Pastor through internet live-broadcast, I experienced God's healing works. She miraculously survived in an accident in which her car collided with another vehicle that crossed the center line, but the aftereffects tormented her for a long time. She prays with her heart's desire dipping herself into Muan Sweet Water. On the first day, I was healed of my knees and came to kneel down. On the second day, I was healed of my kidney, so I no longer had difficulty in urinating. After these experiences, I wanted to go to Korea and firsthand see Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. On May 31, I was given a chance to visit Korea and stayed there for 2 weeks. I prepared for the visit with a longing heart and fasting and went to Manmin Central Church. Surprisingly, from the second day of my stay in Korea, God began to heal the aftereffects of the accident one by one. After I received a handkerchief prayer from Pastor Sooyul Cho during the Dawn Prayer Meeting on June 1, the paralysis around my forehead was gone. The next day, I met the Senior Pastor whom I had been looking forward to seeing, and I was overwhelmed with indescribable feelings. On June 3, I visited Muan Sweet Water site. After I dipped myself in Muan Sweet Water seven times, I gazed at the sun hoping that I could see angels. Then I saw a thick stick shining with white light. As it came down upon me from the sky, it looked like a sword. It became longer and longer until it approached near my face. And again, it appeared like a cross surrounded with pink light. I was thrilled and felt the presence of the Lord. When I came back to my room and looked at myself in the mirror. My face that had looked just pale was restored, and wrikled parts were flattened. Seeing this, members who came with me rejoiced together and glorified God. On the following day, June 4, before the Friday All-night Service, I told Senior Pastor about what had happened in Muan Sweet Water site and received his prayer. After this prayer, the paralysis on the rest part of my face—around my eyes and lips—had perfectly gone, and I was totally set free from all the aftereffects of the car accident. Hallelujah!

Pastor Woraphon Yingwattahanakun (Chaiprakan Manmin Church, Thailand) 1. Pastor Woraphon (right) visited Muan Sweet Water site with Missionary Jaewon Lee. 2. He was healed of astigmatism of his left eye by putting Muan Sweet Water into his eyes. Chaiprakan Manmin Church that I am pasturing is located in Pang, northern mountainous region of Thailand. On May 27, I visited Manmin Central Church with Missionary Jaewon Lee's family, Pastor Potipan Mongpo and Pastor Tawin Dowung Bun. This was my second visit to the church since I first visited Manmin Central Church to attend the 26th Anniversary Service in October 2008. During my first visit, I had recovered my eyesight after dipping myself in Muan Sweet Water, and taken off my glasses. This time, I was healed of astigmatism of my left eye by putting Muan Sweet Water in my eyes. Pastor Tawin Dowung Bun also was healed of the chronic pain in his ankle. It was by the grace of God that I came to have fellowship with Manmin Church where biblical miracles happen. Two years ago, I received a DVD entitled 'The Power of God' from my friend Pastor Mong. After I watched this DVD, I wanted to meet Dr. Jaerock Lee in person and longed to visit Manmin Central Church. Finally, I participated in the 26th Anniversary of Manmin Central Church and came back to Thailand with the handkerchief on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12). From that point on, many healing works were manifested through this handkerchief of power. There was a 20-year-old young man who couldn't speak at all since his childhood. After he received a handkerchief prayer, however, he began to speak. A woman named Nong Ai suffered from great pain for 6 months after she gave birth to her baby. She couldn't even go to bathroom by herself. After she accepted the Lord and received a handkerchief prayer, she was given strength and began to walk. Also, there is a village that was evangelized after the village's influential sorcerer converted to Christianity. I had tried to evangelize this man for a year, but he strongly refused. But not long after I started visiting the village and praying for the sick with the handkerchief on which Dr. Jaerock Lee prayed, he accepted the Lord. He even changed his name into Peter, and his family members also changed their names into those of the biblical figures. In addition, the name of the village was renamed as Nazareth. Nowadays, they are leading a happy Christian life receiving material blessings and good health. Experiencing these works of God, I am working for the Lord with joy and thanksgiving.

I've Deeply Realized What a True Pastor Is Like

Pastor Boongsoon Chang (56, New Hope Church) Pastor Boongsoon Chang (left) and Brother Kisang Yoon (right): Pastor Chang received answers to many questions he had through Dr. Jaerock Lee's messages and healing of incurable diseases I am ministering to a small church in Younchun Gun, Kyeong-gi Province, near to the Military Demarcation Line, a border line between South Korea and North Korea. It was through the Internet that I came to know about Manmin Central Church. When I searched for ideal Korean protestant churches at the 'Knowledge iN' corner of a Korean portal website www.naver.com, I saw a personal comment saying Manmin Central Church is a heretical sect and thought the church is not worthy to be counted at all. In August of 2009, I saw a different comment on the church at the same corner 'Knowledge iN' and came to have interest in the ministry of the church. At that time I was suffering from the disease 'dysphagia.' Dysphagia is the medical term for the symptom of difficulty in swallowing. When someone suffering from dysphagia swallows food, food is blocked in the middle of gullet, and severe pain and difficulty in breathing follow and cold sweat wells up. Then, he has to experience many difficulties in eating food. At first I had to suffer this disease once a month, but later those symptoms happened a few times while having a bowl of rice and it worsened as time passed. What was worse, I had to suffer from the difficulty in breathing whenever I sang praises, so I couldn't sing more than 3 songs. Even if I did a small work, it caused me to feel dizzy and my face to turn pale, and I got out of breath. I thought that not many days would remain for me and was calmly awaiting death. Awaiting Death Because of Failure of Ministry and Disease I had no mind to go to hospital, because I thought I'd rather die even a single day earlier than to live in this world. The church I was serving didn't have a congregation of young people, but just old people. Even many of the old members drew their last breaths and the church revival stopped. I was so disheartened at the situation that I sat in front of the computer longer and longer, and lost the courage to spread the gospel. I couldn't pray or overcome sins. I felt it would be much better for me to die earlier to commit less sin, and to go to Heaven. In that situation I found a different comment on Manmin Central Church on the Internet. The comment said countless people, overseas or at home, received healing through the ministry of Manmin Central Church. My question was how many people could receive healing at a heretical church. So, I searched for and read more comments of the same person that wrote the comment. I found his comments proving he has a right and biblical belief. I began to send my questions to the person and shared this and that with him. He was Brother Kisang Yoon attending Manmin Central Church. I asked him, "I have many questions. Is everything you said true?" He answered, "Pastor Chang, I'd like to tell you to purchase Rev. Jaerock Lee's books and read them." According to his advice, I bought Tasting Eternal Life before Death, The Message of the Cross, The Measure of Faith, and My Life My Faith I & II at Manmin Book Store, and read them. Those books included different doctrines from those of the denomination my church belongs to, but there is no point at all that may be counted as heretical. Instead I was so much touched at the teachings and testimonies recorded in those books. They gave me much impression and grace, and I could feel the truthfulness in them. After I read My Life My Faith II, I was almost shocked and exclaimed with joy and emotion, saying, "These works can happen by no one else but a man of God! How can it be that this man of God lives in our time?" Receiving Answers to Many Questions on the Bible From that time on I have visited the website of Manmin Central Church and read and listened to many kinds of messages preached by Dr. Jaerock Lee including 'Lectures on the Book of Genesis.' I could gain the answers to many questions I had not been able to receive even after reading the Bible more than 100 times. I fully submerged myself in the holiness gospel and spent most of time listening to and reading Rev. Lee's messages except for the time to lead the worship services. For the last 6 months I have listened to a thousand messages. When I read the book The Measure of Faith, I thought I am at the level of faith to practice the Word of God, but as I kept on listening to many messages, I found myself merely at the least level of faith for shameful salvation. After I realized this truth, my heart was so distressed beyond description. I eagerly wished to firsthand see, listen to, and learn at Manmin Central Church, and by the help of Brother Kisang Yoon I began to attend the Friday all-night service. When I entered the church, I was so amazed to see all the sanctuaries including Main Sanctuary were filled with church members and the members' fervent attention to the messages, and their Spirit-filled praises were fully worthy to attract me. Through the Word of life, I have come to know how wrong I am. I offered God 3-day fasting prayers 8 times, and repented of my former shameful life as a pastor. I also prayed and tried my best to throw away sins from the heart. Understanding the Will of God and Healed of My Incurable Disease At a divine healing meeting held during the second part of Friday all-night service, I received the prayer for the sick when Dr. Jaerock Lee prayed from the podium. At that moment, a miracle occurred to me. When I returned home and ate food, no symptom of dysphagia happened. I felt the difficulty in breathing and asthenia had been healed, so I entered the sanctuary and mightily sang a hymnal song. There was no pain. I continually sang a few more songs but nothing happened. Though I sang songs even for an hour, I was not out of breath but filled with grace and joy. I ran out of the sanctuary and tried to dig the land with a shovel. I had no difficulty in doing that at all. A few days later I fasted and dug the land for a couple of hours, but never out of breath at all. I used to have no appetite for food and couldn't eat more than the half of a bowl of rice. But now I can eat more than a bowl of rice very fast. I've recovered good health completely. Hallelujah! In addition, I offer my gratitude to God for my elder sister and younger sister registered at Manmin Central Church and were healed of degenerative arthritis and the pain on the shoulder respectively. Wishing to Spread Powerful Works of God As I have firsthand experienced God's powerful works, I am very sorry and sad to hear some people fail to recognize God's powerful servants who are accomplishing God's kingdom in His confirmation and spread rumors about the church God is with without examining them. No one should judge and condemn a church that serves the Lord, as wrong or heretical. I have the confidence to say how blessed the members of Manmin Central Church are to serve Dr. Jaerock Lee as their shepherd. I respect and love him, too. I was awaiting death, but I have come to possess the hope for New Jerusalem, the best dwelling place of Heaven and understand what a true pastor is like. I give all thanks and glory to Father God who healed me and poured down on me boundless grace and love.
